Chapter 2

It's 3am currently, and the two lovebirds aren't asleep yet. They are cuddled up in each other's arms, still watching TV.

Ryujin's energy was very high, she's almost never tired, while Y/n...that girl is ALWAYS tired, she can fall asleep everywhere at anytime, she's tired right now, but doesn't want to fall asleep and I think we all know the reason.... Nightmares. She's trying hard not to close her eyes and go to dreamland- not really dreamland, because of nightmares.... YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

Ryujin: "Baby? Are you asleep?"

That's what Ryujin asked her girlfriend, that went from being in her girlfriend's arms, to laying down on her lap, fighting the urge to sleep.

Y/n: "I'm not asleep yet."

She tried hard not to sound sleepy, but she obviously didn't make it lol.

Ryujin: "Baby, I know you are tired, we've been doing a lot of activities today, you should go to bed now."

Y/n: "I don't want to..."

Ryujin: "And why is that?"

Y/n: "I just don't want to."

Ryujin: "Is it because of your nightmares?"

Y/n: ".... Yes."

Ryujin sighed at her response. She just hated seeing Y/n like that. She wanted her to be always happy, always in a good mood, but the nightmare was stopping her.

You might all think: "Well, it's just a nightmare, it wasn't real", but...that nightmare felt so realistic for her. Every night, there's always different scenario happening, but with the same person...

Y/n: "I just wanna get a proper sleep, I can't sleep knowing that I'll be chased by that person in my sleep again."

And that's how she slowly explained everything to her girlfriend. She told her everything she was supposed to tell her that morning, but somehow got away with it.

Ryujin: "Did you try with the sleeping pills?"

Y/n: "I tried everything... Pills would make it even worse, it'll be harder to wake up."
"I even tried going to my therapist, but that didn't help either. She just said that it might be because of exhaustion."
"I really don't know what to do, I just want to sleep."

Y/n pouted, which made her girlfriend smile at the cuteness she was seeing in front of her.

Ryujin: "How about you try falling asleep now and I will be awake to take care of you?"

Ryujin suggest, but her girlfriend didn't like it at all.

Y/n: "Ryujin, I don't want your sleeping schedule to be fucked up because of me. But I promise, I'll try falling asleep, and if it happens again I will wake you up so you can give me a little comfort."

Y/n said shyly, she never liked waking her girlfriend up for her peaceful slumber just because of her, and I don't know, she just felt.....embarrassed. Even though her girlfriend assured her that there's no need to feel embarrassed. They've been dating for 3 years, yet Y/n is still super shy.

They spoke about getting married one day and starting a family, but there's always one "what if" in that conversation.. For an example: "What if we don't last forever?".

It's been 10 minutes and Y/n has fallen asleep, she seemed peaceful and Ryujin was feeling a wave of relief, at least for a moment.

J-Hope: "Hey, sorry, I just wanted to check on Y/n."

Hoseok, Y/n's brother, went into their shared bedroom (I'll explain later lol), just to check on his little sister, what a sunshine, right?

Ryujin: "Hey, she's asleep now and she seems peaceful."

That made Hoseok (named J-Hope by his company and friends) sigh in relief. He thanked Ryujin and went to get ready for work, he needed to be there early because they are currently filming an MV (I forgot to mention in my introduction chapter that J-Hope is popular, he's in BTS).

After a while, Ryujin fell asleep too.

But then, it happened again... It's like the nightmare was waiting for Ryujin to fall asleep so it can show up in her girlfriend's sleep.

All the sweat was on her forehead, her shirt was dump because of it, she was moving restlessly in her sleep, wanting to wake up so bad.

She somehow managed to open her eyes, sitting up straight on the bed while panting, her heart beating fast, faster than the light, but thankfully, Ryujin didn't wake up because of that, Y/n already mentioned that she didn't want her gf to be woken up by that. What a sweetheart.

There was no other option, but to stay awake til it's 11am, the usual time when Y/n and Ryujin wake up.

Y/n slowly hugged Ryujin, pulling her into her arms softly, just to feel her warmth.
