Maddy always thought of herself as a simple person. She knew who she was and what she did. Then that was ripped away when she got chosen to be part of the Time Riders agency. Then she re-invented herself to fit that person. Along with her two companions and the 2 support bots, they had solved 3 major time contaminations. And they had gotten to know eathother very well. She knew Sals favourite flavour of ice cream, and the fact that Liam preferred to sit and read a book then a page on a tablet or phone.

But she shouldn't be expected to know what would happen when her and Liam were sitting watching Invader Zim. They sat at opposite ends of the couch in the Archway, a bowl of chips half empty on the coffee table in front of it.

Suddenly Liam yawned and fell asleep immediately. He fell on her lap, and Maddy was *Quite* embarrassed by that. She had to admit that Liam was attractive in a certain type of way. She didn't particularly find that way attractive but she could understand if he had 1900s women throwing themselves at him.

As she looked around ti make sure Sal wasn't around, she accidentally spilled the coffee.

"Oh frikkin'..." maddy muttered. Liam opened his eyes and complained about his shirt. Because his shirt was more important than what had just happened

Al though she might be overthinking this. He was a 16 year old boy from 1912 Ireland. So he probably didn't know what that type of gesture meant. Yeah, that was it, she convinced herself.

Throughout the Day, Maddy kept trying to ask Liam about it, but she always tripped over her words or just didn't ask.

She never got the answer to that question. And now, she never would
