"What the fuck…" bulong ko kay Amy nang makita ang red flag brothers na pumasok sa dining area namin.

What in the world of fuckery is this fucking fuck dojng here?

"Good evening." Umangalingaw-ngaw ang malanding boses ni Ran Haitani habang nakatitig sa akin. Tusukin ko kaya mata niya? Sheesh.

Kaya pala parang may kamukha si Mrs. Reina, anak niya pala itong dalawang 'to.

"Ran, I suppose you know my daughter? She's the student council president in your school." Ani dad.

"Yes po tito. I know her very well. She's really popular." Tito?! He called my dad tito?! What the fuck?!

"Then that's good!" The elders seem so delighted. Meanwhile, I'm fucking confused and annoyed right now. If Yuzuha turns out to be correct and this is some sort of arranged marriage then…

The thought won't get out of my mind even when we are already eating. Nasa magkabilang kabisera ang aming mga ama, on my father's right is my mother, then me, Amethyst, Mr. Haitani na nasa kabisera nga, Mrs. Haitani, Ran and then Rindou. In short, magkatapat kami ni Ran.

Gutom na gutom na ako kanina habang hinihintay naming dumating ang red flag brothers pero nawalan na ako ngayon ng gana.

"Sis ang pogi ni Rindou." Kinikilig na bulong sa akin nj Amethyst.

"Kausapin mo." I just said. Hindi ko na alam ang sasabihin ko. Walang matinong laman ang utak ko.

"Oh so you are already taking his opinions for the business? That's good. It's good to start training young." My dad is pleased with whatever shit about the Haitani business they are talking about. I, however, couldn't bring myself to listen, let alone, participate in their conversation.

"Sis may responsible side naman pala si Ran. Ang pogi niya sumagot sa mga business questions ni tito." Nagfa-fangirl na ang pinsan kong si Amy. Hindi na ako nagulat dahil alam ko naman na supporter na siya ng Bonten since their early days. Pinakamamahal niya nga lang si Rindou.

"Shut up, Amy. Baka marinig ka niya. Isipin niya ganoon din opinyon ko." I told my cousin. She smirked, nange-echoes.

"Bakit hindi ka ba agree? I thought you find smart guys really attractive?" She wiggled her eyebrows at me.

"I wasn't even listening." I said as a matter of fact.

"Sus…" pang-aasar niya parin, hindi naniniwala. Well, bahala siya. Totoo naman ang sinabi ko.

"I really hope you can help my daughter manage our hotel empire someday." Nanlaki ang mata ko sa sinabi ni dad.

"DAD?!" Napalingon silang lahat sa akin dahil napalakas ang boses ko. Under normal circumstances nahiya na siguro ako. But right now? I'm not.

"What's the matter, dear?" My mom asked.

"I'm capable enough to handles the business alone. I don't need a man to run it with me." I answered. Did I sound like a pick me? I don't even care, that's really how I feel. Is it wrong to express my opinion now?

"I'm sure you are, honey. But isn't it better to have someone to share your burdens with? Ran is a capable man that's why I was hoping you two could help each other out." All of my positive thoughts are now gone. I'm sure as hell they want me engaged to Ran Haitani.

"I agree po. Being independent and capable is really admirable. But there is nothing wrong with relying on other's sometimes right? It's human nature. No one can do everything alone. One way or the other we all need some support." Pakiki-epal ni Ran.
