A New World (Honkai Impact 3rd)

The Beginning

"What an interesting name you have given me, Otto."

The child who is now feeling a bit enlightened. He looked at Otto, and he made a grin.

"Then I accept your proposal of the name, from day onward you may refer to me as, Kyos." 

For this onward, he was named Kyos. The Child that Otto feared, and also its savior.

"Then this world doesn't have any Honkai right now?"

"Naturally, I have hidden this universe through my own pocket."

"I see, but how are you sure we wouldn't be occupied by the Honkai's again?"

"I didn't say that would be the case, but it's still possible to be invaded now since I have revealed it on my hands, the natural world's enemy the Honkai is about to appear in many years from now on."

"Then it would be just the same thing as my world then!?"  

"If you let it be, that would be the case. But right now it's not, I have already told you, you have control over the fate of this world. Because, you are the anchor of this universe and beside that you are anchoring me to be visible from this world. This body of mine, is just a vessel created out of an empty husk of a body." Kyos who gaze through the horizon of the mountains and the skies.

"This world is the world you have wishes. A wish that I have granted for my own desire, but it's up to you on how you are going to change things from this day?" 

"Are you ready to face another struggle in your life? Or would you rather run away from these new changes? You have promised your comrades from the past that you will create a new world without Honkai, but it's now in your hands. What are you going to do now? Otto." Kyos was implementing fear and regret towards him, as Otto slowly struggles to answer his question now, he couldn't think like before since he was desperate for an answer and to live at that time.

"It seems I have overestimated you, but are you going to waste your second chance?"

Otto woke up from his sorrows, his promises towards his friends especially to the person he loves the most. 

"No, I won't waste this second chance. Then tell me what I should do?"

"I can't answer those, but it seems you have found your own resolve through your means. This world is just like your world, but every person you have met in your past world doesn't know you, nor recognize you, you might also meet your own counterpart in the process. But I would leave that to your own thoughts, but for your work. It's not mine to interfere, if another universe like this had broken down. I can always hide a new one." A cold statement that triggers Otto, but he knows that he isn't a human to begin with and doesn't understand the meaning of life.

"So, in this case, it makes me realize what it means to be alive. That's my only desire but the moment you have given up, I will take everything from this world and let you perish along the way." Such threatening aura that made Otto fear him even further.

"But, that's if you've only given up you have all the time you need until you say the word."

"Alright Kyos, I'll do what you said. You said earlier that I have all the control in this world right?"

"You're not wrong for now, if you're worried about my existence getting found out in this world, that's not my problem to fix with, you either can hide me, or let the world know who I am but that is your own choice." 

"Fear is just an illusion, and Death is just a word for me. Those don't exist on my part, you may kill me in this body but I wouldn't perish in this world, but you can severe it by killing yourself."

"How so?" 

"Because, you're the anchor of this world and I'm attached to you to weigh me down into this world but in doing so you have given up." 

"So by killing my own self is another way of giving up?"

"Yes it would be so."

"Then what if I have died by someone's hands?"

"..." He was silent.

"It seems more than just that."

"It would seem so." Kyos, who doesn't want him to know more, wants to let him know that he has the time he needs to achieve everything in his hands. No matter the cost he wouldn't interfere in this world.

"Then, what year is it in this world?"

"Year 1755"

"Isn't that way too long?"

"Then what time do you want to propose? Like I said, you have all the time you need."

"So then it's possible for you to rewind back in time and go forward?"

"That would be correct." The child, who then sat in a wheelchair that he had just created with his own thoughts.

"Now, what time do you want to start your second chance?"

"What is the technology advancement in this world?"

"The same as yours, but the problem in this world is that there is no Honkai base Weapon, or a Divine Keys so called God-killer."

"Then what happened to my entire Divine Keys?"

"I simply erased them from this universe, we don't want you to be known to the Sea of Quata, or this universe would collapse under the waves of the Quantum Shadows. Since they inherit the Herrscher Core inside them." 

"Then what about me?"

"You have nothing to worry about yourself."

"I'll trust you in that part. Then, bring me back to the Year 2010."

"So in that year then. Then do what you must do."

"By the way, what time did Otto appear into this world?"

"You will meet him shortly before this."

Kyos just the swipe of his hand, the entire world had collapsed through the lapse of time going forward so fast, while Otto saw the entire world changing from one after another. The world is slowly building new era of civilization

The timestream that Otto saw was this world's whole evolution of growth without any Honkai. There was no disturbance in each Honkai's Impact, but the world of humanity has been at war with each other for the past centuries.

He saw multiple casualties just by the humanities struggle between each other alone, while in his world everything had been put into An halt and everyone fought their common enemy the Honkai.

Now with that end of the forwarding time had ended, there were skyscrapers from the cities that could be seen kilometers away. Some of them are the trees that were still intact and some of them got taken down.

"2010, the new Era is here. If you're wondering about the Appearances of the Honkai, just like I said it would take years before they appear again, but if I predict it in this world they would appear for 5-10 years from now, while outside of this universe it would feel like seconds so it's now up to you on how you would proceed into this world."

"So I would start as a nobody in this world without anything."

"Of course, but I'll lend you some tiny help."

Kyos who deliberately passed down his fragments of abilities on Otto himself. 

Otto who is now merging with his new abilities, has surpassed all of the Divine Keys from his past. The power that is surging through him was enough to change the world, and this time he will protect this new world.

He would be the protector of this world, he will not make the same mistake as the past. He will make his own fate carve into this world. His name was Otto Apocalypse, the one who controls his own Fate.

"Now show me Otto, what it means to be alive."
