Serrana ran as fast as she could, panting and gasping for breath. Behind her, Team Rage's mothership chased her. The gleaming sky, clear and cloudless, revealed the faint yet familiar shape of her Zapdos.
"Zapdos!" She shouted. "Over here!"
Serena suddenly glanced backwards and saw the ship gaining on her. As it picked up speed, Serena's heart began to pound and sweat poured down her dirt-streaked face. Her pulse quickened and a surge of adrenaline coursed through her veins, igniting the fire of strength and determination burning deep inside of her.
"ZAPDOS!"
She screamed with terror as the ship slammed onto the ground behind her. Just when she thought that it was all over, Zapdos plummeted from the sky and snatched her from the clutches of the evil Team Rage. Serena smiled. "Let's go save those Pokémon, Zapdos."
