"Of course!"
"Welcome to the SRA," Brock said, smiling. "I'll show you the rest of the team now," he continued. Celeste nodded and followed Brock into a long, wide hallway. On the sides, various doors were labeled with the names of the various distinguished and accomplished SRA members. She saw names of the Elite Four, Champions, and more that she did not recognize. Celeste found herself staring at the captivating entrances.
Finally, they stopped at another door at at the end of the long hallway. The door was tall and etched with exquisite designs of many Pokémon in battle. Celeste was completely entranced by the decorations; they seemed so alive to her. She felt as if they would leap out of place and explode with power and strength anytime soon.
Distracting her from her deep thoughts, Brock knocked on the door, then gently pushed it open and stepped inside. Serrana gasped.
She was inside a beautiful room with a crystal chandelier, pure white walls, and a smooth floor. A bronze table the length of a bus extended from one side of the room to the other.
"Please take a seat," Brock said smoothly before sitting down himself.
Serrana took a seat and looked around the table in awe. Ash grinned at her. Misty waved. May and Max winked at Serrana. Iris and Cilan both smiled. Everyone looked at her with a friendly, welcoming look on their face. There was silence for a few seconds, then Ash spoke.
"How old are you?" He inquired, a wide smile spread across his friendly face.
"Twelve," Celeste responded.
Ash grinned. "That's pretty young, you know. Compared to you, we're ancient!"
Everyone burst into laughter.
"You aren't really that old, are you?" She questioned, confused.
"We're all either twenty years or older," Iris responded, a bright twinkle in her eye.
Celeste nodded. Then Ash became serious. "Tell me everything," he urged her, leaning towards her.
Celeste took a deep breath.
"It's weird. I can... Talk to Pokémon."
There was a small collective gasp as all the SRA members seemed to become a little more interested in the conversation.
"One day I was roaming through the forest, as I usually did, when I heard some sort of weird sound. It was like a groan of immense pain and terror. Naturally, I had to go investigate, so I did.
"I saw Zapdos, lying on the ground and moaning with pain. He was injured; he had a huge thorn wedged into one of his wings. He needed it to fly, so I tried my best to save Zapdos and heal his hurt wing. I ended up fixing it pretty well, and after that Zapdos really trusted me. We would fly together a lot, and even though I had a Poké Ball, I just couldn't capture him. We were just friends. I knew Zapdos wanted to be free. Then, one day, Team DD's mothership appeared out of nowhere. They were trying to capture Zapdos, so I told it to fly away and I ran. Team DD chased me and then Zapdos saved me. We opened the doors to the back of the ship and I freed Dialga and Palkia. I can call them here if you want..." She finished. "Yes, please," May said politely. Serrana nodded and thought about Palkia and Dialga. I need you, she thought. All of a sudden, the windows on the side of the room shattered as Dialga and Palkia appeared. Ash chuckled. "Nice work, Serrana," he joked. Serrana blushed and turned away. Dialga roared. "It's okay, guys. These are good guys." Serrana explained. Ash approached the two Pokémon and they stood perfectly still as he stroked them. "I guess you remember me." Ash murmured, looking into their eyes. Serrana was completely confused. How did Ash know these Pokémon? "He saw them once on his journey," Cilan answered her question before she had time to ask. "Oh," Serrana nodded. "I see." Suddenly, Dialga and Palkia started to growl. A few moments later, a Hydreigon burst into the room, followed by an Arcanine. The Hydreigon began knocking over bookshelves and roaring with rage. To everyone's horror, it knocked over Ash. He fell to the ground, motionless. Why was it so mad? Serrana didn't know, but she knew that Ash needed help. "Oh no!" Dawn exclaimed as it approached the table. Serrana bravely stepped forward, towards the out of control Pokémon. "No, Serrana, it's too dangerous!" Brock yelled as she neared the Hydreigon. She stroked it and whispered, "It's okay, it's okay." The entire room held its breath. What would Hydreigon do?
