Words said.
Promises she made.
Now she regrets it.
Time has passed
Things have changed.
But not what she said.
What she promised.
She said she wouldn't let him.
Whatever happens.
Whatever time brings.
Like chewing gum , it will stick.
And that promise is still valid.
Feelings have
stayed in the same place.
Deep inside her, stuck.
