Sam's pov
I woke up to the sound of my alarm and I turned it off and got out of bed and started to get ready for school I put on my binder because I'm trans and then I put on a long sleeve because I had some she scars and I had some fresh cuts to I put some pants on I tried to go down the stares hoping my parents aren't down there but I saw them "Hey Samantha are you almost ready for school" my mom asked "mom could you please call me Samuel" I asked softly she walked up to me and hit me "no your name is Samanthat not Samuel you damn brat" she yelled and then hit me harder "s-sorry mother" I wimpered "get your shoes on and go to school" she said and I did and when I got to school because I was early I when to the side of the school and pulled out my blade and rolled my sleeve up and started to cut six deep cuts luckly I had bandages and that helped a little but it was bleeding kinda bad but I thought it would be ok and then the doors opened and I walked into the school and and kid who would bully me a lot walked up to me his name was Branden "Hey Samantha would you like to suck my dick or would you like me the beat you into the lockers?" He said "B-branden could you please leave me alone?" I asked "no the fuck I can not now be a good little bitch and suck me off in the bathrooms!" He yelled "he said no you jerk now leave him the fuck alone" Colby has said he was my best friend I kinda had a crush on him but I would never tell him that "come on Colbs why are you defending her?" Branden asked "he's not a she and don't call me colbs I don't fucking like you now go the hell away you fucking bitch!" Colby yelled at him and he left "are you ok sammy?" Colby asked me softly "y-yea I'm fine thank you colbs" I said with a smile and I saw him blush "your welcome Sam" he's said "come on we have to get to class" he said as he pulled me to first class

Later at lunch

Colby's pov
"Hey Sam do you wanna sit with me at lunch?" I asked him and I saw him make kinda a weird face "um yea sure" he said in a small voice as he looked down I didn't know what to say so me and him started to walk to the cafeteria to get some food "hey colbs I'm not really hungry" he said I started to get a little worried and I could also see some blood on his hand "Sam come with me real quick please" I said worriedly and he followed me we went to the bathroom and I grabbed his hand a pulled his sleeve up and I saw a bandages and they had a lot of blood on them "Sam" I said with a sad tone in my voice and I was worried about him "can I take the bandages off?" I asked not wanting to that them off with out him saying it was ok for me to he nodded his head and I started to take them off and a saw deep cuts and when I got it all the way good there were six deep cuts and I didn't know what to do "I-I'm sorry I d-didn't mean for y-you to find out" Sam sobbed and he fell to the floor I sat on the floor and I told him to come over to me and he did I picked him up and put him in my lap "it's ok Sammy don't worry I'm not mad ok I'm just worried on what made you do this and I'm also worried because when I asked you if you wanted to eat lunch with me you made a weird face" I said and he looked down "w-well the reason I made a face about eating lunch is that I haven't ate in a few months and the reason I have self harm cuts and scares it's because of my family and the people at school because I get abused and I get bullied and that's the only way I know how to help I'm so so sorry!" He cried into my chest and I rubbed his back to calm him down "it's ok Sammy it's ok" I said he calmed down and then pulled his sleeve down "come one let's skip the rest of school and go to my house" I said and he nodded his head and we left the building to go to my house
