As the ninja walked through the hall, Hutchins told them the history of the palace. As he guided them to the throne room, they saw all the artifacts they had.
As Hutchins opened the doors to the throne room, the emperor smiled.
"Welcome ninja!" said the emperor. The Jade Princess walked up to the ninja and complemented each of them.
Hutchins asked the ninja to follow him to a room. "Can I come too?" the Jade Princess asked looking at her dad.
"Yes." he said with a smile. "Come along then, Princess Harumi." Princess Harumi followed the ninja and Hutchins.
As the ninja kept up with Hutchins, Lloyd stayed back and chatted with the princess.
"So Harumi, was it?" Lloyd asked. "Yes, and you are Lloyd, right?" Harumi said. "Yes, what do you do for-" "Hey!" Kai yelled, "If you two love bugs would stop talking and listen to why we're here!"
"Ahem!" Hutchins coughed. The ninja all gathered around the mask of deception and vengeance. "If these are reunited with with the mask of hatred, they not only lead to ultimate power but also can bring people back from the cursed realm." Hutchins said.
"You're the only people who we trust to protect them." Harumi said looking at Hutchins.
"So that's why we brought your here, to protect the masks." Hutchins said. "So then we guard with our lives." Lloyd said looking at the other ninja.
Later in the night as the ninja a guarding the palace, Lloyd is trying to find Hutchins and ask him some things when he noticed Harumi's window open. He looked around but couldn't find her anywhere. He realized that she was kidnapped.
Lloyd dashed out the door and ran through building before he noticed a hooded figure walking with a sack. He chased them thinking what was in the sack was Harmui. He eventually caught up with them to see that they were Harumi.
Harumi explained that her father would not let her leave the palace. But on some nights she would give food to the homeless and poor. After about an hour of them at the docks they headed back.
They made one mistake. Going through the front door. When Lloyd opened it, Hutchins was there and very angry. "Where have you been!" Hutchins screamed at Lloyd and Harumi. "Oh and if you think I'm bad, Lloyd and Harumi your father wants to see you.
As they walked in Harumi got a look at her dad, he looked like he wanted to kill Lloyd. "Lloyd Garmadon! The Green Ninja! Sneaks out with my daughter then has the audacity to act like the victim!" He screamed at Lloyd. "Lloyd, for failing to protect the Oni masks, You will now be taken out of the palace never to return. Hutchins." he finished. "I'm sorry sir." Lloyd said apologetically But before anybody could move there was an explosion near the entrance.
