STARING at the clock impatiently waiting for the dismissal bell to ring you start bouncing your leg. How can one period drag for so long? You look away and start paying attention hoping it'll make time move faster.

As your head lays on the palm of your left hand and pen spinning in right you begin to think of plans to do over the weekend. There was always an event of some sort going on keeping you busy and out the house. Your friends loved to be out and you were down for whatever.

At times you wished to be alone but with the life you had there was no such thing.

"Y/n? Earth to Y/n!"

As you were interrupted by your train of thought you look up to see your friend attempting to get your attention.

"Y/n? Girl is you good?" your friend Ayla asks you.

You start packing your stuff while responding, "Oh, yeah! My bad I was in a train of thought." You said while continuing to pack your stuff. Ayla was a close friend of yours..correction closest friend of yours.

You had many close friends but Ayla was the only one who you considered to be an actual close friend. You hung out with a semi huge group of people, there was never a dull moment with them but at times you felt alone. There was no clear explanation for the way you felt but it was a feeling that lingered and stayed with you wherever you went.

As you put your pencil pouch inside your bag and start closing it up you turn to Ayla to speak.

"So what's the move for this weekend?" you asked.

"Honestly I don't know, hopefully it's nothing too crazy cause I'm still worn out from last weekend" Ayla replied.

You guys exit the classroom as you continue the conversation.

"No seriously, I really wanna chill inside but knowing them they'll probably make it into a kickback and I literally don't have the energy for it."

"Girl you never have the energy." You roll your eyes at the comment.

"And? I love ya'll and all but god damn going out every weekend is insane!" Ayla laughs at the sentence in agreement.

"I'm just saying you don't have to join us every time we go out hun, you can always stay inside. You know I'll cover for you." you take off your backpack to grab your wallet as you both approach a vending machine to get a quick snack.
