Desperate and wounded she kneeled down. The battle was lost. She was alone. Her comrades were dead. Still there she was in front of him. Her thoughts had quieted. She was ready. His breathing calm unlike his heartbeat. He pulled out his sword ready to kill her. She lowered her head. A loud sound took her out of surprise. She looked up at him only to see his sword stubbed on the ground. He turned around and said while leaving "the war is not over yet". Her head was heavy. Her wounds wide open. Her blood was dripping on the ground. "one more" she thought every time she was breathing. Her eyes closed. Dark.

The commander stood up in agony while he was covered in cold sweat. "We lost the battle" the solder replied. An old General corrected him "wrong! We lost the war because of this. Half of our army is wounded. Your stupidity caused that!". The soldier stayed quiet. Another man enters the room "Sir, I inform you that last night 10000 people died and 1 wounded." "WHO IS ALIVE?! WE NEED TO TALK TO HIM" everyone in the room started talking and only the commander was heard. The solders left. Quiet. The door opened again. No one was breathing from the agony. She came in. Her long red hair covering her soldiers down to her back. It had been so long since she didn't have to tight them up. Still wounded she moved forward them. Still tired she moved forward. All the men in the room were frozen. The girl, no, the woman they never thought could make it was there, alive. During the last council she was kicked out because she dared to speak up her plan against the generals.

-How?

-I followed your plan

-To the end?

-Yes

-why?

-To prove you that this plan was leading us to the death.

-How did you make it?

-I am different from everyone in here. I see our enemies as humans that matter. A life for a life is the right way to explain it.

Silence spread into the room. General Tod cleared his throat.

- We can't just sit here because we lost a fight. The war is still on. We will have to wait for the rest Generals to come back and make a new plan.

Everyone agreed and the council came to an end. Tod cought up with her and asked whispering "What really happened over there?" she looked at him and acted like they were having a regular chat until they arrived at her room.

-There is that general, no, I think he is a commander. During a previous battle we met and I talked to him. Yesterday he speared my life and let me go.

-You don't know his name?

-No

-How is he like?

-I don't think I can tell you. I am sorry.

-I see. It's okay, I get it.

-Thank you.

The following days the Generals were returning with mostly bad news. Everyone was fed up and tired some of them actually suggested to surrender. In the end they decided to play their last card.
