Chapter 4, A completed group

{Lucas' POV}

I ran into an abandoned building with my girlfriend, Blake. We both hid together. Only to hear robots bursting through the door...we both stayed quiet. The robots patrolled the place for a long while. After a bit it seemed as though they left...me and Blake left our hiding spot and looked around. No signs of robots–...there was a scream next to me. I looked over to see Blake sliced in half next to me. I backed up in horror and looked up to see a robot staring at me. Tears filled my eyes, and streamed down my cheeks. I screamed for help, for someone, anyone. When suddenly the robot fell to the ground with sparks. I looked up from the robot to see.. Mario. Standing there with a weapon in hand. He stared at me, and quickly went over to me.

" Hey- hey you ok? ,, He asked, in a highly concerned tone.

" ... I- .. She- .. ,, I uttered, tears streaming down my cheeks still.

" ... ,, Mario glanced at Blake's dead body. " ... We should get out of here.. Staying here isn't a good idea. ,,

I just nodded, before Mario grabbed my hand and dragged me out the building. We were now walking down the sidewalk, Mario dragging me.

" I know you feel like shit but–there was nothing you could do about her death, yknow.. ,, Mario said, it seemed like he was trying to cheer me up or reassure me in some way..

" .. I-I know .. ,, I replied, muttering a bit.

We walked for a while. I had calmed down by now, but my cheeks were a bit stained with tears. We suddenly hear a noise behind us. We quickly sprinted into the building nearby. The noise following us. ...Without realizing it I let out a scream. I looked to where the sharp pain came from, there was a wound on my arm now. Mario and I whipped around to see a robot staring at us with the most...sadistic smile. I backed up, gripping my injured arm. Mario holding a weapon.

" T-Time to d-die~ ,, The robot spoke with a glitchy voice. Before trying to attack us.

Mario stabbed the robot in the head, it falling with sparks coming from its head. Mario stabbed it a couple more times, before kicking it to the side.

" Holy shit– ,, He said, letting out a sigh of relief. He quickly went over to me. " Are you alright– ,,

" Does it look like it-? ,, I said, sassily.

" Ok ok I get it- jeez. ,, He took off his tie and tied it tightly above my injury. " This'll slow down the bleeding til we get something to properly bandage it up– ,,

" Alright .. ,, I replied, letting out a small sigh.

" C'mon, we should go. ,,

" Right- ,, Mario then left. I followed him, still gripping my arm.

{David's POV}

I was walking with my crew on the sidewalks, but then I saw two people, one of them looked like they had an injured arm. I shouted over to them, hoping they would hear me.

" HEY YOU TWO! OVER HERE! ,,

The two people whipped around and stared at me. They glanced at each other before quickly coming over to the group. It turned out to be.. Lucas and Mario!

" David? You're ok! Thank god we found you–or rather- you found us– ,, Mario said, with relief in his voice.

" .. Oh- uh- uh- .... ,, I hid behind Zaine.

" I– David really– ,, Lucas said. He was the one with the injured arm.

" I- I'm not doing anything! ,,

" You're literally hiding– ,, Mario said.

" No! ,,

" Yes you are– ,, Zaine chimed in.

" S-Shut up! All of you! ,,

" Ok anyways–uh can any of you bandage up my wound– ,, Lucas asked.

" I- I don't know.. Can we? ,, I said in a sassy tone.

" ... YES YOU CAN. ,, Lucas said, annoyed.

" Hmph.. ,, I started to bandage up Lucas's wound.

" Hmph- thank you- asshole ,,

" You're the asshole.. ,,

" Shut up– ,,

" Anyways.. We need to get going ,,

" Yeah- we do ,, Mario stated.

" Next stop is our base. ,,

We then left, together, as a group. Back to our base, to give those injured in our group more medical attention, to rest and lay low also.
