chapter 1 - miis paradise ? as if . (DAILY P3)

i finally made it to the dining hall , alexus following behind me since i let go . it seemed . . . empty . did everyone already eat ? aidens probably here . oh yeah , he is .

"whos there ? oh , its just matt ! hey , matt ! youre- uhh . . . later than usual ." aiden pointed out as he placed a plate of pancakes on the table i was sitting at .

"i was knocked unconscious . something happened overnight ." i explained in a quick sentence .

"oh , was it relating to the ladder ? there was a ladder on the right side of the apartments ." aiden asked .

"yeah , exactly that ." i said .

i started to eat my pancakes , just noticing that aiden put maple syrup on .

"i got knocked unconscious and i dont know what happened next . . ." i said , continuing to eat .

a minute later after silence , i was done , bringing my plate to the kitchen .

"hey , also . . . join the others . theyre having a beach party to celebrate their last moments alive ." aiden added from the kitchen .

"so theyre like , swimming and stuff ? and oh yeah , the bomb and all . . ." i said .

"im not going to join , but i will have a role . food and drinks ." aiden answered .
"you go get ready now ." the chef added .

"okay . thanks for reminding me , aiden ." i thanked the chef for reminding me as i left the café .

i headed up the elevator to my apartment , taking off my long sleeved , orange shirt and pants and replacing my pants with orange swim shorts .

"okay , i look ready ." i said , looking at myself in the mirror .

i headed out of the apartment , headed to the beach , as i saw everyone there .

"ah , matt . i did not expect to see your appearance at all today ." callisto said .

callisto was still wearing his hat and cape , but long , purple and black swim shorts .

"matts here ? matt ! matts alive , guys !" alexus shouted .

"matt ? where were you ? such a heavy sleeper . . ." clara muttered .

"i was knocked unconscious last night . my head still hurts though ." i explained .

"seems like a good alibi ! right , melodie ?" dorian shouted .

"yeah !" melodie answered .

"ah , matt . come here ." magnus told me from over on the other side of the beach .

i came close to magnus , curious in what he wanted to tell me .

"ah , magnus ! anything wrong ?" i asked the scientist .

"no . its just . . . you just mentioned why you took so long . how did you fall unconscious ? did someone hit you ?" magnus replied with all these questions .

"ah , you see . in the middle of the night , i heard a smashing noise . like , smashing glass . me , eric , tia and melodie went to investigate ." i started .
