Chapter Two~Karasuno

DISCLAIMER: This is a piece of fanfiction derived from the famous Anime Haikyu!! and Kuroko's Basketball! I do not own most of these characters and some facts may be altered during the course of this tale. I am just doing my part in the fun community of the fanfic world and anime.

Tetsuya Kuroko

In about half an hour of her driving, we reached Karasuno High and while the surroundings were dark, she parked in front of the only lit area of the school, that showed light. The doors were open to a gym that had voices coming out from it. There was a pathway going to the school's door but it appeared to be closed. She was in her practice suit already and pulled out her bag, before leading us in. It surprised me that Kenma actually wanted to leave the house and see someone, so I had to meet this Shoyo. When we reached the steps and the perfect smell of the gym reached me, the blast of light of the bright room cleared to a wooden glossed floor and two Volleyball courts, side by side. One had boys slamming balls over the net and the other had girls. Both completely indulged in their practice.

"Captain!" A girl I recognized to be Kyo came to us as we entered the place.

"Look." Kenma tapped my back, pointing his head at the boy's court. A boy with the most carrot-orange hair ran from his end of the court and jumped for a spike. Only, when he jumped, a blast of my life slapped my face and I saw Kagami's reflection in him. The only difference was that Kagami was almost two metres and this guy... was shorter than Kenma probably. He slammed the ball that came to his hand and it was so fast that I might've had a hard time intercepting this if it were a pass.

"That was fast." Was all I could muster.

"That's Shōyō Hinata." Mia spoke. At that, Shoyo looked at us and beamed. He ran over and hopped in front of Kenma.

"Kenma! You're here!" He was as full of sprite as Kenma lacked it.

"Hey, Hinata, that was good." Mia spoke and he brightened even more.

"You really think so?" So hopeful.

"You could use a bit more kick in your second tempo jump but otherwise, nice." She raised a fist and he bumped it happily.

"I won't lose!" He rejoiced and then his eyes moved to me, freaking me out, "Hi!"

"Hinata, this is my brother, Tetsuya Kuroko." She introduced. While Ken seemed a bit surprised that Shoyo had found me, Mia seemed like she knew he would already.

"Hello. I'm Shoyo Hinata." He bowed.

"Hello." I did as well.

"Tet is a first year at Seiren High in Tokyo."

"Who is a first-year?" A little bit more grown and taller guy came with another very tall, more grown, and almost scary like Kagami guy with a man-bun came with him. Next to them was a guy with grey hair who reminded me of Teipe with that smile of his.

"This little guy." She ruffled my hair and I carefully pulled away.

"Oh... oh!" The guy who'd asked turned red, "Sorry, I didn't see you... behind... Kenma." He gulped, turning red.

"It's okay." I bowed, "I'm Tetsuya Kuroko."

"I'm Daichi." He grinned.

"Sugawara." The grey-haired spoke.

"Asahi." The man bun guy with Kagami's build spoke and I could only blink.

"Tet, these guys are the men's volleyball team from Karasuno. Daichi is the captain and Sugawara is the vice. Asahi is the ace." Mia spoke. I felt so crowded but at the same, the environment wasn't cold or overwhelming. I liked the spirit somehow, "And you remember the girls."
