In a few days it would be Valentine's Day, the park nearby had just announced that they were doing a lovebooth on the 14th. I blushed as I thought about my crush, Balloony. I've liked him ever since we became friends in school. He was so nice and helpful, he genuinely listened to me and helped me. I loved him so much.

The day then finally came, I was getting ready. I was ready to confess! I saw him at the park, he didn't seem to be looking for someone exactly.. So I held onto the flowers and chocolate I was planning to give to him. I took deep breaths and walked up to him.

"Hm?"

He stared at me, he noticed there was something behind my back.

"Uh.. Um.. Uh.. Hey Balloony!"

I laughed nervously. He just stared back.. Confused. He continuously tried looking behind my back.

"What's that behind your back?"

He awkwardly asked. I hid the roses and box of chocolates behind the bush behind

"There's nothing! Don't worry. Uhm. Er.. Balloony, there's been something I've been wanting to tell you for a long time."

I foreshadowed, his eyebrows furrowed.

"Oh??? Who is it?"

He questioned as he leaned forward to me. I blushed even more.

"Uhm. So, there's someone I've liked for a really long time and I need help."

I implied even more, looking him up and down. He blushed a crimson red a bit.

"Oh, uh.. Can you drop some hints so I can help you get with them?"

He asked as he raised his eyebrows even more. I nodded. I stayed silent for a while.

"Hello?? Are you there???"

He adjured as he snapped his fingers several times with a confused look. I snapped out as my heart was racing.

"Well, he's a close friend of mine who's a really nice guy."

I implied, he looked around and blushed even more.

"I..Is it me?"

He asked, I nodded.

"Balloony, I like you."

I said, trying to be confident and loud. It was a moment of silence for 1 minute. There was a crowd forming around us. It was so embarrassing..

"I mean um! It's okay if you don't like me back I-"

I said, Balloony cut me off by grabbing my cheeks and kissing me on the lips, I blushed severely, shocked, stunned. He actually.. He actually liked me? He took me over to a nearby lake near the park.

"O/N... I like you too. I've been meaning to tell you for a long time too, you're literally one of my best friends, how could I say no to any of that?"

He assured me. I hugged him tightly, he then kissed me again and we began to make out.
