Hunters POV

I hear my alarm clock go off. Todays my first day at Hexside! I can't believe I convinced Belos to let me go. I sat up and put on my new uniform. I quickly ate breakfast and brushed my teeth. I hopped on Flapjack and flew away.
Edrics POV
"Hey Em did you hear there was gonna be a new student at Hexside?" I asked while walking to school with my sister. "Yeah Luz told me, she said she knew him?" she answered. "So the new students a boy huh? I hope he's cute" I muttered to myself. "What was his name again? uhm I think she said it was Hunter?" she replied. Thats a cute name, I thought.
We stopped at the school gates and I could see a cute blonde boy by mittens and her girlfriend. "Hey Mittens, hey Luz!" Em said and waved I waved as well. "Hey guys!" Luz said enthusiastically. "Who's your friend?" I asked.
"This is hunter!" Luz answered. "Hey" He greeted and smiled. He had a gap in his smile and it made his smile look so cute!
"I'm gonna go find Viney!" Em called out and ran away. "We better head to class too, Ed why don't you show Hunter where Illusions are?" (please just pretend he can do a little magic for the sake of this book PLEASE oh and pretend hunters in potions and illusions please)
"Sure" I agreed. As they ran to class I looked Hunter up and down. He was about 2 inches shorter then me (Work with me here please) "My names Edric but you can call me Ed" I told him. "My names hunter but you already know that" He replied with a smile. I smiled and stared into his ruby eyes.
They were so enchanting.
Hunters POV (How do you like it so far?)
He stared into my eyes and I stared back. He had beautiful golden eyes. He's so cute, I thought. I realized I was staring and looked away. I could feel my face heat up a little. Wait what am I thinking? I'm supposed to be gathering information!
"We should probably go, we don't wanna be late for class" He said as he grabbed my wrist and pulled me away.
