Dahyun is not one to date, nor get into relationships or even flings. She likes to think it's not really worth her time and effort to go out and build romantic relationships with people, if she were to be frank, having her friends by her side is enough!

Well, not until both of her best friends ended up dating each other and her plans of living together in a friendship house go down the drain as she doesn't want to be the third wheel in their lovey-dovey-ish relationship.

Don't get her wrong! She totally supports Chaeyoung and Tzuyu's relationship, one hundred percent– the exclaim of "Finally!" That she let out when the two girls spilled the beans on her one day when they were hanging out.

But that didn't fail to give her a nagging voice behind her head. A voice saying she's behind a loop, behind everyone else, being left out because she wasn't going out and about– mingling and meeting new people and potential partners.

Dahyun was stuck, and she didn't want to be left out at all.

So what did she do?

She downloaded a dating app. Yes, a dating app, but she insists it's just for making friends and nothing serious or anything, just for making friends, yeah.

Dahyun and Chaeyoung were in their dorm, it was a weekend but Tzuyu had some extracurriculars in uni to attend to, so the two are in the living room with the TV on, but Dahyun looked like she was busy with something else.

"Dahyun, why are you smiling at your phone?" Chaeyoung scrunched her forehead and tried to get closer to Dahyun to take a peek, but the latter quickly hid her phone before she could even see what's to smile about.

"What?! Who's smiling at their phones?" She feigned ignorance and smiled– which was completely forced by the way –at Chaeyoung. She looked at her weirdly. Dahyun has been acting strangely for a few weeks... no, maybe even months.

"You, you're smiling at your phone," Chaeyoung crossed her arms. "You're texting someone, aren't you? Did that dating app actually do its job?"

Dahyun puffed out air as if Chaeyoung said something ridiculous. "You're thinking too much into it, Chae," She dismissed but the text notification that dinged from her phone said otherwise. Dahyun went stiff and she and Chaeyoung had a brief staring contest; Dahyun looked away first to quickly reply to the message she got (a suppressed smile didn't go unnoticed by Chaeyoung).

After replying, Dahyun put her phone on mute and placed it on the coffee table in front of them. She looked back at Chaeyoung who still had her arms crossed but had a knowing smile on her face.

"Do I have to tickle it out of you or were you eventually gonna tell us anyway?"

"Look, I swear it's nothing big," Dahyun raised her hands in defense. "I wasn't gonna say anything because I thought it was nothing serious,"

"So it is serious now, you're saying?" Chaeyoung raised an eyebrow.

Dahyun bit her lip, thinking of the right words but failed under the pressure Chaeyoung gave. She sighed heavily. "Alright, fine," Dahyun pouted. "I am talking with someone, but it's only for fun..." She mumbled the last part.

"Oh, bro, that smile on your face earlier did not look like for fun," Chaeyoung teased. "How long has this been going on?"

"Since we started college..." Dahyun fidgeted with her fingers.

"What?" Chaeyoung said, dumbfounded. "It's almost the end of the first semester and you've been keeping it from us for four months?" Chaeyoung dramatically placed her hand on her chest as if Dahyun betrayed her big time.
