Sherlock was alone, like always. He lay in his dorm, deep in his mind palace. He didn't even hear the blond boy knock, enter or set up his side of the room.
Still he was alone, not physically, but mentally. Emotionally too, perhaps. Not that he experienced many of those, emotions.
Sherlock didn't know it, but maybe this stocky boy with his rugby posters and messy desk would find a way to bring more out.
