*After pizza*
I laugh at Christopher as he tries to balance a spoon on his nose. "Now hold on I almost have it."he says. "You said that the last 5 tries."I say laughing. "Don't doubt me ms.Harris."he says. Eventually he gets it and I clap, laughing. "Told you I could do it."he says removing the spoon.I laugh at him yet again. I don't think I've laughed so much in just one day."I do believe you owe me a prize."he says looking down at me. "Indeed I do, what would you like?" "A kiss." "Where?" "Right on the lips." I look at him before answering."maybe who knows maybe you'll get a goodnight kiss." He chuckles then looks at his watch. "I do believe we miss our movie ms.Harris." "What time is it?" "Nine o'clock on the dot,"he says then looks at me."would you like to go home ms.Harris I think I've keep you out late long enough." "Okay Christopher." We get up from our booth and go back to the car. We fall into a comfortable silence on the way back to my house. Once there I watch Christopher run around the car to my door. He walks me to my door and I turn to him. "Christopher can I tell you something?" "Anything." "I'm a bit scared to stay in my house by myself." "Why?" "Last time I stayed by myself Kyle got into my room and he wouldn't leave." "Would it make you feel better if I stayed with you."he says tucking some hair behind my ear. "Please." He nods taking the keys from my hands and opening the door. He lets me walk in first and then once he's inside he closes and locks then door. He follows me upstairs to my room and sits on my bed while I find him some clothes for him to wear. "You can wear these they're my dad's,"I say."the bathroom is across the hall." He thanks me and leaves the room. While he's gone I changed into my pajamas and fix my bed to sleep in."I can sleep on the floor."he says. "No it's fine we can sleep on the bed it's fine." I say looking up at him. When we both lay down I turn towards him. "Would it be weird if we cuddled?" I ask. "Not at all love." Christopher opens his arms up and I scoot closer resting my head on his chest. "Thank you Christopher." "For what love?" "Giving me something to believe in."
*next morning*
The next morning I woke up to the sound of rain pouring down on the roof. I shift my head a little burying my face into Christopher's neck. "Ms.Harris what time do you think it is?" Christopher asks his voice raspy. "7 maybe 8," I say "why leaving so soon?" He chuckles before answering. "I wouldn't dream of it." I lift my head up and look outside. "It's raining kind of hard out." I state. "Yep, I reckon our parents might take longer coming home." he says. The thought of my parents not being home doesn't bother me in fact it lights my mood a little. "Would you like some breakfast Christopher?" I ask sitting up. "I would love nothing more Ms.Harris." he says with a big grin
