Friend?!?

Alexis's POV

"Who are you?" Asks a masculine voice coming from behind me.
"Alexis" I reply in almost a whisper.
"Well Nice to meet you Alexis" he says while he lowers the gun from my head. I turn around and see he looks about 15 and tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He reaches out to shake my hand while smiling but I step back cautiously.
"Um why did u lower the gun?" I asked curiously.
"Oh you want me to put it back up?"
"No. But why?
"I stole a file with a name of every guard and everyone that works for the Government and Alexis is not one of them unless your lying which your not."
"How do you know I'm not lying?"
"Your eyes tell."
"So who are you?"
" I'm Liam."
"Ok........ Nice name."
"Sooo........ Ummm. Why are you here?"
"Running away."
"Really! 😃 that's fantastic!!"
"Umm no it's not." He says angrily.
"Oh right sorry but I'm
Running too."
"Ok that's nice." He says sarcastically.
"No need to be rude."
"Whatever." He says clearly not caring.
" Well......."
"Sooo...."
We stand there for about 5min awkwardly staring until I break the silence.
"So what's your favorite color."
"White. Yours?"
"Black."
After about an hour of failing conversation we decide to run together. We made an oath to have each other's back ALWAYS no matter what. Once we run for about 12 miles we see a building of in the distance. An old looking beige building on top of the hill.
"What is that?" I ask
"I have no clue this was not in the files."
"Should we go?" I ask while looking around to see if there are any guards.
"Um.......... I think we should."
"Mkay but are you sure about this."
"No but YOLO What's the worst that could happen?"
"Um.. Let me think ..THEY KILL US!!"
"Oh right." He says with a smirk
"Let's just go and check it out but from a distance and maybe see what it is."
"Fine." I finally agree
