The next morning when they went to the college, they got information about their Semester 2 examination which would start on 1st Nov and end on 11th Nov ( yes a day before Anu's birthday)
After getting the information only, they immediately started preparing for their exam .
After 2 days they got information from the college authority to vacate the hostel and shift to the new hostel building ( which was a bit far from their college ) because of rising covid cases .
So as per the information they vacated their room and shifted to the new hostel building.

A day before exam . Evening time , Anu was returning from college alone. Darshan was not well , so he didn't go to college.

Anu didn't take the main road path because it was already late and she had to reach hostel so she took the shortcut way , which Darshan had warned her not to use . But that time she didn't think of anything.

On the other hand Darshan thought , it's already late, what if Anu takes the shortcut path . Let me go and see once

In the middle of the road , some drunk boys teased Anu and I'll treated her but as Anu was both emotionally and physically strong , she had already fought with maximum of them but now one of them held her hands so tightly that she couldn't anything . She was shivering with angerness.

Darshan was watching everything from back . When he saw that a boy had held her hand , he couldn't control himself.

He ran to Anu and calmly told that guy to leave her hand . His voice was so bold that those boys silently went away from there .

Anu was still shivering with fear and anger .

Darshan hugs her and scolds her too

Darshan : Anu tum thik ho na ?

Anu : Hn

Darshan : Mana kiya tha tumko ki tum yeh raste se nhi aaoge ? Baat kyun nhi sunti ho mera. This is why I lost my sister too . Can't u understand that I don't want to loose u !

Anu doesn't reply.

Darshan : Janti bhi ho kya kya ho rha hai aajkal !

Anu : Lekin Darsh....why everytime a girl has to change her path to be safe ? Why ?

Darshan was speechless

Anu : Answer me Darsh ! Answer me !
Why all boys can't be as respectful and as responsible towards girl like u ? Batao ! Tell me !

Her every question was bold !

Darshan : Anu , I can understand what u wanna tell but yarr hum ekdin mein koi change to nhi la sakte na ? Na hi hum dono akele kuch kar payenge . Toh jab tak hum financially stable nhi ho jaate we really can't do anything. So isn't it better to change our path for our safety until that ?

Anu could understand Darshan's words and that he's telling the reality. She could also understand Darshan's fear of losing her

Anu : Okay , I understood . Now let's go to our room .

On reaching into their room , Darshan didn't talk with her . He sat in one corner , huddled himself and tears rolled down his cheeks for he remembered his sister's incident
