Kneeling down on one knee with a red rose in his hand, there he was proposing me and waiting for over 3 minutes for my reply.
I looked into his eyes, hoping I wouldn't break his heart, aware that other students in the canteen were watching, waiting for my answer. His eyes, filled with anticipation, pleaded for a positive response, but I couldn't bring myself to say yes immediately.
Why couldn't I just say yes? I had always liked him, but there was a reason I hesitated. No one, not even my best friend, knew about my feelings for him. I wanted to understand his motives, so after what seemed like an eternity, I finally looked him in the eyes and said, "Yes."
His face lit up, and he hugged me tightly, overwhelmed with happiness.
Jungkook - "Thank you, Yn. You have no idea how much you've helped me. I was terrified you'd say no, considering how long you took to reply."
I glanced to the side as he continued hugging me and whispered, "Are you happy now?"
Jungkook - "Is that even a question, Yn? Of cour-" I cut him off, my voice barely above a whisper.
Yn - "Are you happy to break my heart just for your stupid dare?" His shock was palpable, his expression guilty for his actions.
Yn - "I never thought you'd be this selfish"With that I left, making him somewhere guilty for his actions.

Yn - "Let go. I don't want to see your face."
Jungkook - "Please let me expla-"
Yn - "Explain what? How you and your friends decided to play with my feelings? Or why you did that? Actually, you know what? I want to know why you did it. I never disturbed you. I never interfered in your life. THEN WHY? All I did was admire you from afar."
Tears welled up in my eyes, but I refused to cry. I was perceived as a strong girl, someone who preferred solitude and rarely spoke.
Jungkook - "I know I just... I'm sorry, Yn. I didn't expect you actually liked me. You were always quiet and not interested in anything, so we didn't think that-"
Yn - "Yeah, just because I was quiet and distant doesn't mean I don't have feelings, huh?" I chuckled bitterly.
Jungkook - "What? No... why won't you let me explain? At least listen to me!"
Yn - "Fine! Explain."
Jungkook - "I... I like you too."
Yn - "Now that's rubbish-"
Jungkook - "I'm the one explaining, so just listen, please!"
Yn - "Fine, fine. Speak now."
Jungkook - "I really like you. Your quiet nature intrigues me a lot. I was afraid to confess, so my friends dared me to propose to you. If you said no, I would have claimed it was a dare to save face. That's why I proposed in front of others, so if you said yes, everyone would know you're mine. I'm truly sorry if I hurt you. I genuinely am."
He pleaded, tears streaming down his face, regret filling his eyes. He hadn't intended to hurt me, but his actions had emotionally wounded me.
Yn - "You're stupid. Such a stupid person. You could have just asked me out. You know I'm not the type to flaunt relationships to others. You could have proposed in private. Why make me cry and do all this? But I still like you too much to say that I hate you. Don't do this again, because I won't forgive you next time."
Jungkook - "I won't ever do it again. So... are we together?" He looked deep into my eyes, searching for an answer.
Yn - "No."
Jungkook - "No? But why?"
Yn - "What do you mean, why? It's your punishment."
Jungkook - "Then how long? I can't wait to make you mine, and I can't wait for my first kiss. I've saved it just for you."
Yn - "What are you-"
Jungkook - "Well, of course, when we date, we'll have to kiss, and we can even do tha-"
Yn - "Stop, you're going too far."
Jungkook - "I was just kidding, my girlfriend. I won't do anything until you're ready."
Yn - "Girlfriend? I haven't agreed yet."
Jungkook - "Yes, you did. You accepted my proposal in front of everyone."
Why did I even accept that? It's better to run away than to endure his perverted talks.
