It had been a week and a half since the last time everyone saw each other, and probably the last time everyone would see each other. It was Jareds send off party, and so many people were currently at the coffee shop.
People {Name} didn't know, some of her friends, Rebeca, Wilbur, Tommy and Tubbo snuck in (somehow) and it was as loud as ever. Talking, trying to have fun for the last time, and Jared's arm never leaving {Name}'s shoulder.
The night progressed, and the party was starting to end. "Hey big man Jared! I've heard a lot about you from n/n!" Tommy said, swinging an arm around Jared's free shoulder, making him laugh and shake the younger boy off.
"I'm glad n/n talking about me to her friends." Jared said before leaning in and pecking {Name}'s cheek, making her giggle as he covered her right face with kisses.
"Ewwwwww adult love." Tommy said, cringing making the couple laugh again, before diving into conversation with Tommy.
"Alright everyone!" One of Jared's close friends said while ringing the only wine glass in the room, all the other people were drinking alcohol through ceramic mugs. "Jared has a special announcement for everybody, so please clear a space for him to speak and quiet down!"
He said again as everybody did as the friend said, Jared standing up on the counter as everyone surrounded him, whispering lightly about what this might be.
"Hello family, friends, and partners."
Jared said winking at {Name} making everyone chuckle while she just rolled her eyes smiling.
"I, as you know, in 3 days is moving to america. For family reasons and business reasons. Now, i'm not gonna make this a sappy goodbye party, sense i already did that will all of you here.
I wanna take this time to talk about something, or should I say someone that is more than the world to me."
Jared said locking eyes with {Name}.
"Her name is {Name} {Sir Name}, her favorite color is f/c, and she is the owner of this coffee shop. She makes people fall in love with her just by a small smile, just a glance and you find yourself head over heels. And I take it from experience, I've done it more times than i can count.
I am literally the luckiest man, to ever live because of this girl. She truly makes me the happiest person on planet earth. She makes me think, the world isn't as bad as i thought.
And I truly can't thank her enough.
I know she wasnt my first kiss, my first girlfriend, but she was the first person ive ever truly loved. And i cant imagine my life without her."
He said as his friends ushered {Name} to stand up on the counter with Jared, snickering as she stood up on top of the counter with him.
"I know I'm not perfect, and I know I don't deserve you. I may not be the best cook, i may not be the best singer, i may be jackshit at go fish, and i may have a strong hatred for your best friend,"
He continued making WIlbur clench his fists as the crowd only giggled.
"But I wanna try my best at loving you, at being the person you love, and maybe.."
Jared slowly got down on one knee, pulling out a black sleek box with a ring in it.
"..Maybe trying my best to be your husband? {Full Name}, will you give me the honor of taking this ring, running away with me to the states, and being my wife..?"
{Name} covered her mouth with her hands, tears rolling down her face as the crowd went silent. She looked around, looking strait at Rebeca who had a scared look on her face.
And then she met Wilburs. He looked crushed. Pure horror took place on his face. Another tear rolled down her face as she looked at Wilbur for a few seconds, seeing her bestfriends face.
Seeing her support, seeing her family, seeing the person who held her heart. She was conflicted, choose the love of your life or the home you never want to leave.
But she knew which one her heart longed for, the one she would always end up choosing when she met eyes with him.
"Jared..." She said as the crowd stood on the end of their feet in anticipation.
