Ever since that one time Hemi got sick, her owner has been monitoring her and what she will randomly find on the ground and eat, more than she has been.

Although, today, Nevaeh is expecting two special visitors, one being another husky!

This new husky is a puppy (6 months) while Hemi is (6 years). We'll see how she deals with this one.

Nevaeh is upstairs, writing one of her books while Hemi is on the bed playing with her favorite chew toy. Everything's pretty peaceful until a knock, followed by 3 to 4 loud barks were heard outside of the front door.

"That must be her!" Nevaeh said, getting out of her chair and running towards the front door. Hemi followed.

Nevaeh squealed as she opened the door, revealing her best, best, best, (x100) friend, in which she hasn't seen in over three months.

"Oh my gosh, Cora! It's been a while." Nevaeh said, leading her bestie inside the house.

"Yeah, I know right? I have so many questionsss" she replies. Nevaeh laughed and told her to sit on the couch so they could catch up.

"Okay, first, how have you been doing girl?" Cora asked.

"Pretty good. I'm living a nice peaceful, yet eventful life with my amazing husky, Hemi! Shes right there as you can see, sitting beside the couch." Nevaeh pointed at Hemi. Cora made a really high pitched squeal as she got up from the couch, going over to Hemi.

Hemi almost backed away, before realizing who Cora really was.

"Oh, oops. Did I scare her?" Cora asked, crouching down to Hemi's height.

"Maybe a little, its been over 3 months ever since she's seen you. She has to remember who you are again, I suppose," Nevaeh said. The husky who was with Cora walked over to Hemi, which resulted in Hemi growling at it.

"Hey, Calm down Hemi!" Nevaeh said. Cora pet Hemi on the head and sat back down.

"So, whats going on with your brother? Where is he?" Cora asked.

"Well this is his house but he's not around much. Idk if I'm able to stay here on my own since I'm only 13, (Both Cora and Nevaeh are 13), but I'm just here chilling i guess" Nevaeh said. "What about you? Is that your dog?" She added.

"No, I wish. This is my neighbors dog and she said she would pay me to watch her, my own dogs are at home. This pup's name is Kira and she's a 6 month old puppy! Isn't she cute?" Cora asked, I nodded and happily patted Kira's head.

"I just decided to drop by for a bit and see how you were doing, I figured since I knew you had Hemi at home, these two could have some playtime or something while I'm still watching her." Cora added. "Sounds like a good idea, therefore we can catch up more!" Nevaeh said.

"Yes, that would be great. We still must monitor them, though" Cora replied.

Nevaeh nodded.

Hemi stared at Kira with a blank expression. "You think hemi likes kira?" Cora asked, watching at how hemi weirdly stared at kira. "I'm sure she'll warm up to her. Once she gets to know another pup, she'll grow to like them more. Too bad we can't arrange play dates since this isn't your dog.." Nevaeh said.

"I know right? It would be great for us to hang out while the dogs play y'know"
Maybe I could also bring my 3 little ones!" Cora suggested. Nevaeh thought it'd be a great idea.

"We can probably do that soon" nevaeh said.

Since Kira was literally a puppy, you know the deal. All she wanted to do was play, play, and play!

Kira barked at Hemi, alarming her. Hemi began growling at Kira's sudden action. Kira ran around hemi in circles with was probably going to end up in Hemi getting real mad and snapping at Kira, which wasn't meant to happen... but thats what happens when you mess with Hemi.

Nevaeh and Cora were just talking about random stuff so they didn't notice what was going on..

Hemi chased Kira around the house and eventually upstairs, which only then did they notice the playfullness in the air of the two huskies. They just laughed it off and continued laughing, but little did they know that Hemi would eventually snap.

Barking of both dogs could be heard from upstairs, aswell as growling. Aswell as whining.

That didn't sound like normal play.
