The Bar (Jon Davis x Reader)

Chapter 2

Jon's POV
I woke up to the sound of my alarm, it was 10:00. "Why did I set my alarm? It's sunday!" I thought. But then I completely forgot that I had a meeting with the band. I really didn't want to go, but I had too.
I got up and got dressed. I put on my Adidias track suit and brushed my teeth.
As I was about to leave, my phone rang. I checked the caller ID, and it was Head. Which was weird, because he never calls this early.
I picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jon, I know it's early, but I just wanna let you know that the meeting's cancelled."
"Oh, that sucks," I was so glad it was cancelled. "Why though?" I asked.
"Munky has a huge hangover so he can't come. And we don't want to have a meeting without him."
"Oh ok, thanks for telling me."
"No problem." Then he hung up.
I sat down in the living room, then looked at my arm. I completely forgot about Y/N. I checked the time, it wasn't too early, so I called her.
The phone was ringing for a bit, but she picked up.
"Hello?" She had a groggy tone.
"Hey, it's Jon! Sorry, did I wake you up?"
"Oh, hey Jon! You didn't wake me up, don't worry."
"Good. I was wondering if you possibly wanted to get lunch? If your not busy."
"Sure! What time?"
"I can pick you up around 1?"
"Ok! See you then."
"See you then." I hung up.

Y/N's POV
I was super excited to hang out with him. I picked out an outfit and did my makeup. After that I immediately called Chrissy and told her.
"Omg that's great! Call me after and tell me how it went!"
"Ok, bye!"
I hung up and checked the time. 11:34. This is gonna be a long hour. So I put on a movie.

*12:45*
I made sure my makeup wasn't smudged, (it wasn't), then I grabbed my purse. As I was turning off the tv, I heard a knock on my door. I immediately ran to open it.
"Hey, Y/N! Ready to go?"
He had a huge smile on his face.
"Yep!"
As I went to his car I noticed a bunch of rolled up posters in the passenger seat. I looked at him and chuckled.
"Oh, sorry for the mess." He said while throwing them in the back.
As I got in he said,
"I saw a little cafe around the corner, you wanna go there?"
"Sure!"
"Ok."
The whole car ride we were talking. I really liked it. He's really nice and he makes me feel safe.
We got to the cafe, and as soon as we sat down we started talking again. We talked about a bunch of random stuff.
The waiter came over with our check. I pulled out my wallet but again, Jon pushed my hand away.
"I can pay Jon, really, it's fi-"
He cut me off.
"I'm paying."
He's so sweet. I think I love him.
That's stupid though, I've only known him for a couple days. But he's sweet, caring, and very talented. I'll talk to Chrissy about it.
