While walking to my dorm room, i spot a familiar Slifer brunette. I hope he doesn't notice me.
"Y/n! Are you going back to the dorms?" Jaden asks. Great. The boy i fell for the moment i saw him. He only sees me as a friend, I'm sure of it.
"Yes i am." I reply unenthusiasticly.
"You should come with me and Sy! I heard Chazz and Alexis are gonna duel!" He says. A duel? I guess it sound kind of interesting.
"Sure." I say, turning to walk with them. Syrus runs ahead, leaving me alone with the brunette. We continue walking towards the shore.
When we arrive, the duel is almost over. Chazz only has a few LP left. Alexis hits him one final time, and he falls to the ground. I giggle, and Jaden turns to me. He asks if i want to go back to the dorms to go over his cards/strategies with him, and i agree.
We start walking back to the Slifer dorms. Suddenly, he stops. Confused, i stop as well. He turns to me and looks at me with his chocolate colored eyes. He opens his mouth to say something, then closes it again. He seems to think for a second before starting again.
"Y/n, there's something I've been meaning to tell you. I really like you, and i have for a while. Sorry if this seems random, i understand if you'd rather have someone like Zane or-" i cut him off by pressing my lips against his. He hesitates, then kisses back. The kiss lasts for only a few seconds longer before we break.
"I like you too Jay. I have since we first met." I tell him. He looks relieved. Without saying anything, we start walking to the dorms. On the way, our hands lock.
