A few days passed, with Faith coming back every day, it was finally the day of taking off your bandages. The doctor grabbed the edge and started to cut with scissors on the first strap. After that, the doctor grabbed the cut strip and started to roll the bandages off. Everyone (or should I say Faith and the doctor) was waiting for this moment. You were wanting this day to come so badly. When the bandages came off, Faith gasped.
"Wait, what happened to my face?" you ask. You get out of the hospital bed and go to the nearest mirror. You see yourself and you gasp. Your (h/c) was the same, so was the length, but your eyes weren't (e/c) anymore, they were (f/c). You had a face that looked somewhat like a boy but other than that, you looked normal. You look back at the doctor, then Faith.
"Miss (l/n), it's not that bad," she says, shyly.
"Don't worry about this. It is normal for a patient to have a face change. But let's hope that she doesn't go insane as the last patient did..." the doctor said to Faith.
You didn't say anything. You felt like you couldn't speak, but that's because you didn't want to. You went and sat at the edge of the bed and saw the doctor walk out of the room to speak with Faith alone. You look outside and see that it's raining. The sky shows your emotion, somehow. Both of them came back in and Faith gave you a sad look.
"Miss (l/n), while you were past out, one of the scientists came in and gave you a sample of an experiment. The experiment was to control the weather. Another one came in and gave you another one, which was to create anything from anything."
You just gave her a look of confusion, then acceptance. You went to look out the window again and see that it's still raining. You felt like you were no longer human. You look down to the parking lot, seeing and realizing that you were on the fifth floor. You stared at the people who were coming in and out of the building, but see two familiar figures.
Jeff and Liu.
You smiled, know that they were coming to see you at night. You look at the sun. Sunset. Your smile stopped the rain and made the sky clear within minutes. Jeff and Liu were looking at the windows, looking for you. They, apparently couldn't.
You remembered that your face changed mostly like a boy. They turned to each other and said that they were coming back, but in their glamors/human form, not their form now. But you never knew that. Until then.

When night came, they entered the hospital and got lost in the building looking for your room. You were asleep. You had a lot going through your mind and you thought that resting would be a good idea. You woke up when you heard footsteps.
Fear filled your emotions, it's all you could feel right now.
You closed your eyes and acted like you were asleep when you saw them, but you couldn't see their features, that's why you were so afraid. When you heard footsteps enter the room you couldn't move. Until you felt a hand on your arm. You heard them whisper to each other.
One of them said "We've must have got the wrong person. I mean this person might have the same name but this is not what she looks like." That voice sounded familiar.
The other one said, "You might be right." Then they both left, leaving you alone. You felt a tear run down your cheek. Minutes later, you can hear light thumps on the window. You open your eyes and see that it's raining. You waited for the sun to rise.

The next morning, Faith came and got you in the clothes that you had when you ran out of the house after slapping your foster mother. She got you out of the hospital and took you to the scientists' laboratory. One of the scientists was outside the door, waiting for you. When you got out of the car and walked up to the scientist, she held out her hand to shake yours.
You shook her hand and she said, happily, "Hi, I'm Professor Rosa. Nice to meet you, (y/n)!" You gave her no response, just a fake smile. Professor Rosa looked at Faith and Faith just shrugged.
"I can take care of her, now." Professor Rosa said sweetly to her. Faith just gave a faint smile at her and gave you a hug. She waved her goodbyes and drove off. "If you can follow me, please. And you can just call me Rosa if you like." She said as she gave you a soft smile.
