I waited beside a hospital , I seen people walk in and out. There was a loud ringing noise.
"It's time my dear," I said to nice old lady. She sat up with tears in her eyes.
"I can't go yet. I have to say good bye to my family," she cried out, I nodded and waited by the door for her. She stood by her family talking to them, she knew she couldn't hear her. But she just wanted to say goodbye one last time, she looked up at me and nodded. I held out my hand to help her to the appearing stairs, she wiped her crying eyes and took my hand.
"Thank you, dear," she said looking back to her weeping family.
"Please, call me Y/n," I said to the kind lady, she nodded and we started to go up the brightly lit stairs. And the more we went up, the younger she looked. She went on and told me about her life, she loved to travel a lot and just loved animals, and they loved her back. She stopped right at the last step of the staircase, she looked back down.
"Thank you again," she said before entering the bright gates. She looked back before disappearing into the clouds, I waved goodbye to her. I started my way down the stairs when I heard a familiar voice ring out.
"Dear old friend," it started, "How about you come in and have a drink. You've had a long day of work," it said. I looked back and saw my old buddy Lucifur, I shook my head.
"No thank you I'm headed to see my old friend alexandrite," I replied, he nodded and bid a goodbye. I waved and went back to going down the stairs, I took off my black robe and turned into my human form. Once I took the last step of the stairs the dissipated away, I looked around and saw that I was in my apartment. I hung up my robe and went to my bedroom to grab a nice shirt and pants to wear, then went into the bathroom for a quick shower.
