Sammy will always be Farkles closest friend. He thought that if he became friends with the nerd, Farkle would start to like him back. He knows he might have a chance for Farkle is bisexual. But Farkle has taken interest in Sammy's twin sister and her best friend. Maya and Riley clearly aren't interested in him so why does he try?
Farkle may be smart but Sammy wishes the nerd was smart enough to figure out how Sam feels about him.
Sammy never asks for much, he's used to it. His mom is always working for extra hours to pay the bills and she is always at the cafe. His dad had left them when him and his younger twin sister was young.
