Another day in Inazuma, nothing special or anything.. You were sitting under a tree near the city, reading a book about medical needs of some sort. It was a quiet afternoon without any single disturbance on your way.

"hm.. so qingxins are actually a great medicine for fever.. noted! although.. they're a bit bitter." you started writing on your small notepad.

in the distance you could hear someone screaming your name

"[Name]!!!!!!" Itto screamed. He came running to you with a kid behind him.

rolling your eyes, you closed your book and puts it aside. "what do you want..?" you crossed your arms looking at him with annoyance.

"we're gonna have a bettle battle and YOU are gonna be the judge for today" he beamed with a smile plastered across his face.

you sighed "I don't know anything about beetle battles!"

"just look closely and see which beetle fell to the ground first, the beetle standing last wins! it's easy"

"alright fine. and what's your name little one?" you smiled and asked the kid beside itto, a slight change to your tone of speaking when you turned to ask the kid.

"my name's rui ma'am!" the kid answered

"alright rui, give it your best! beat uncle itto!!" you cheered for the kid

Itto furrowed his eyebrows looking at you, "heyy! how come you're cheering for him??! you're supposed to be cheering for me! I- The great Almighty Arataki Itto" he said ever so proudly.

you chuckled at his cocky confidence, "Whatever, just make it quick"

"okay okayy" he nodded

Itto places a small crate in front of him while rui sat at the other end of the crate facing itto, the both of them lets out their onikabuto. rui took his onikabuto out of a small jar, while itto took his out of his hair..

"Alright, 3..2..1.. go!"

"Go get 'em Lighting Stripe!!" Itto yelled
"Take them down Furious Shadow!" rui yelled as well, cheering for his beetle.

both of their onikabutos started fighting on the crate.

after a few minutes later itto's beetle fell on its back and struggled it's tiny legs to get back up. "Alrighty.. The winner is Furious Shadow!!" you cheered

"HAAA???!" Itto knitted his eyebrows in shock with his jaw open "AGAINN?? SERIOUSLY?!?!!!"

"hahahahaa!! i defeated you once again uncle itto!" rui placed his hands on his hips, laughing like a maniac

Itto took some chocolate and candies out his pocket and handed it over to rui while shedding a tear "alright here you go..."

The kid jumps up and down with his arms in the air, overflowing with joy as you could tell it's written all over his face

"Okay uncle Itto, i better get going now! mama is gonna be mad at me if i come home late"

with that said.. the sun starts to set and the sky is turning orange (idk how to describe it)

Itto places his onikabuto back in his hair, he got up and pats rui on the head "alright buddy, you go now, take care" he smiled.

rui nodded and runs away in a hurry carrying his onikabuto jar with him. a small pebble in front of him made him trip down

"RUI WATCH OU-" you yelled in concern, bit alas the little lad fell and sprained his knees and forehead. he cried and whined in pain, so you cane running to the kid.

you placed your hand on his knees, a small wound on his knees were definitely visible, Itto also came to comfort rui, you did your small trick and healed the knees in a matter of second with your bare hands and a healing spell.

"rui.. you should've been more careful" Itto said

"oh please uncle itto the last thing i need right now is a lecture!! huh- oh wow it's all healed now!"

you rubbed rui's scratched forehead, "ow" rui exclaims, a small kiss was planted onto the kid's forehead by you, and with magic now his forehead is also all patched up

both Itto amd rui were taken a back by this action of yours, you could do nothing but just giggled looking at their reactions, "you can go now rui" you said to the kid

"woahhh!! thank you magic lady!" rui's eyes was sparkling, he was amazed at your healing skills. "hahah.. no problem"

rui quickly ran away waving goodbye to you and Itto, you waved back at the kid and went back to sit under the tree.

The atmosphere feels quiet.. a little too quiet.. and that's when you noticed it. Itto was nowhere to be seen, at first you were concerned but you shook it off and went back to reading.

"..glaze lillies are medicine material too??" you hummed

Itto appeared sitting beside you out of nowhere and started whining "ow owwwww hey [Name] my lower lips is bleeding a bit!!" he pointed below the side of his lips, and yes it was bleeding.

"let me see that.." you cupped his cheeks and went closer to his face. squinting your eyes observing the small cut, "heh." he slightly grinned

"here let me fix it up" you said placing two fingers on the cut, the green glowing dendro magic did it's thing and healed his cut. "okay all better now"

"heeeeyy!! where's MY kiss??!" Itto pouts

raising an eyebrow you said, "what kiss-" then you connected the dots and realizes something "oohhh.. i see what you're tryna do here" you smirked

"well unfortunately that's not gonna happen" opening your book, you went back to reading.

"That's not fair, how come rui gets a small peck and i don't???"

letting out a small chuckle, you put down your book and got on your knees to just about Itto's height, placing both your hands on his face you leaned in closer and gave a small kiss on the side of his lips. "all better now?" you gave him a warm smile. A small tint of red blush smeared all over his face, and on the tip of his ears too.

He stared at you for a bit and then snapped back to reality "y-yeah" he stuttered. He then wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you in for a hug.

both of you exchange laughters and little shy smiles while laying on the ground filled with sakura petals.

"Hahah- alright alright that's enough now!" you let out a small chuckle

"bleghhh lovebirds..!!" Yoimiya muttered with a disgusted look on her face when she spotted you two from across the city, "good for them though" she smiled in awe
