Lalani was on her bed when she heard her mom screamed so hard that she kinda got startled by it so she went downstairs with her sister Imani doing the same as her

Lalani: mom are you ok?

Kady- Imani.., Lalani

Imani: what's wrong mom

Kady: your dad is dead! (As she starts back to cry)

Lalani couldn't do anything but as soon as the Dead part came into the sentence she blacked out

30 minutes later

Doctor: Ms. Smith can you hear me

Lalani: yes

Lalani looked around the room to see Her mom, sister, Messiah, Mrs. Willams, and Tiana.... Why tf did he bring her she thought

Messiah: are you ok?

Lalani: yeah mom where's dad?

Her mom looked down and looked back up at lani

Lani couldn't believe her dad was dead she couldn't believe that her last moment with him was a phone call that he was saying he was going home and she wished that she could have stop him on going that plane that night but she couldn't it was too late

Messiah: you know I'm here for you

They both looked at each other and smiled while Tiana rolled her eyes

Tiana: um I'm ready to go home

Mrs. Willams: mmhm I'll take you home

Messiah: I think imma stay here with Lani

Siah's mom and Tiana both left the Hospital while Imani and Kady left the room

Messiah: I'm about to go and I think I need space from you aight

Lalani just had her head down while looking at the Conor of her eye to see Messiah walking out the door

Then Imani and Kady came in

Kady: are you ok baby?

Lalani: I told Siah I like him and he told me he doesn't like me back and we need space

Imani: that fucking jerk

Lalani: I think we need some time apart really
