"You uh have a lot of posters of Tom Cruise." Randy pointed out as he looked around my room. I let out a laugh at his obvious jealousy of a famous person.

"Yeah he's my favourite actor." I replied sitting down on my bed, "Do you have any posters in your room?" I asked well watching him.

"Of course I do, mostly of horror movies though. Not just one specific person."

"Is Randy Meeks making fun of me for having posters of a guy?" I teased causing him to send me a panicked look.

"No ! I didn't mean it like that I-"

"one of your guy friends probably have posters of naked girls and I bet you don't blink an eye."

"I'm not sexist !" He quickly defended himself making me burst into a fit of laughter.

"I know I'm joking," I smiled as he sat down at the end of my bed.

"Your a bully you know that?" He asked with a small grin.

"I try."

"Hey uh, about Jeremy why was he actually here?"

I could basically sense the awkward tension he created for himself.

"I don't know he just randomly came by asking about a video I bought."

"Did he come inside or..?"

"No I left him on the porch."

"You don't like him do you?"

"No I don't." I replied watching as his gaze kept shifting around the room trying to avoid making eye contact with me. "He's not my type."

"w-who is your type?" He stuttered with a nervous look.

"Uh, I'm not sure I've only liked one guy before."

"Oh.."

"Randy I-" I was quickly cut off by the phone ringing making me roll my eyes, "one sec." I mumbled before leaving the room and running into the kitchen.

"Ava." I froze at the voice I thought I wouldn't hear again.

"Dad..?"
