Deku's POV
I wake up, to see Kacchan sleeping on my chest. It was morning. I place him down, but my eyes widen.
"OH NO! WHAT TIME IS IT?!"
I run upstairs to check on my phone.
6:30 phew..
I brush my teeth, grab my uniform, and change. After Kacchan wakes up and comes over to me, he was barking something.
"Trying to tell me something? Are you hungry? Maybe you wanna go potty?" I ask him putting on my shoes. His eyes widen and he starts jumping. I find a leash and grab the collar from the box. Me and him go out. We were walking around a little, enjoying the fresh air. He was going to potty but he looked at me with an angry expression, probably telling me to look away, understandable, I laugh and do so.
Suddenly I see a group of people coming closer to me. I realized who they were.
Oh no..not then again..
I look down afraid.I could feel my heart beat faster from fear. They notice and all of them surround me.
"Look! The nerd got a dog! HAHAHA!" They laughed.
They kick me in the stomach and I fall down to the ground, all of them laugh.
"He was too scared to be alone, huh? Well guess what, that tiny thing won't do anything to us!" One of them also laughed.
I closed my eyes tightly, rolling up in case they would start kicking me again. But that moment I felt something pull and I let go. I heard screams and growling, after a while everything stopped. I felt tears in my eyes but I still open them to find Kacchan sitting in front of me.
"K-kacchan? W-where are the b-bullies?" I sit up and look around, they were nowhere to be seen. Kacchan sits in my lap.
Did he...really protect me?...
I smile through tears and pat him rubbing his belly.
"T-thank you..." He then looks up at me with the usual annoyed expression and licks the tears off my cheeks. My eyes widen. We sit like that for a while. I decided to not go today, so we went back. I felt even more tired now, I lie on my bed, feeling Kacchan cuddle in, I pat him and like that both of us fell asleep.
