The night passed like that, every 2 hrs the nurse updated Monami on Karan's health...While Monami leaned in her chair and closed her eyes...♥️

Monami went to Karan's room only to find him still sleeping...For a minute, her heart ached seeing him in this condition...And it was true, he was deteriorating day by day, she could clearly see that...✨

Monami - Aaj inke kuch tests karne hai...Reports aa jaaye, then we'll plan the next course of treatment

The nurse nodded and left... Monami sighed seeing him like this...✨

He was up and in a little pain...✨

Monami - U okay?? Pain hai??

Karan sighed and shook his head a no but his face was saying it all...Monami sighed...✨

Monami - Nurse bas aaj aapke kuch tests karle then we'll move further in your treatment

He smiled lightly and nodded...But that didn't go down well with Monami...✨

Monami (in her heart) - Kya banda hai ye?? Itniii critical haalat mein hai, dard mein hai tab bhi hasta rehta hai 😅🙄

She sighed and brushed off all her thoughts, the nurse too performed several tests on him while Monami stood right next to him...✨

6pm,

His reports came in Monami's cabin and she opened it with a little ray of hope but as she opened it, it faded a little...✨

Monami - His liver is deteriorating very quickly...We have to start the treatment soon

She closed the file and went to his room, to check on him...And there he was wide awake, struggling to sit up...✨

Monami - Heyy... Careful...You can't get up please

Karan sighed and layed down again...✨

Monami - So jao thodi der and if you need anything, the nurse is here

He nodded lightly and She left his room...On her today's agenda for the night is to thoroughly go through his case file and write down the course of action accordingly...✨

When a nurse came running to Monami's cabin,

Nurse - Mam..mam vo ICU patient

Monami - Vo kya??

Monami got up with a jerk,

Nurse - Doctor, his pulse is going down

Monami rushed to his room...As she entered his room, his room was filled with noises of the monitors beeping sharply...✨

Monami - Nurseeee, shakal mat dekho meri...Oxygen lagao

The nurse nodded while Monami rushed towards him with an injection in her hand, she gently rubs the cotton over his arm and gives him the Injection...

Monami - Stay...Stayyy... Stay, pls stay with me

She puts her stretescope on his chest and holds his wrist in her other hand,

Monami - Karan... Respond yaar (She said in a stern voice, almost panicking)

She kept on looking at the monitor, holding his wrist in her hand... Finally the pulse got stabilized and she let out a huge sigh of relief...✨

Monami - Pheww 

She checked him again and for the night, she decided to stay in his room only...✨

Nurse - Doctor, you'll stay here??

Monami - (Sighed) Hmm...Go take some rest... Mein hu yaha pe

The nurse nodded lightly and left... Monami sighed and went near Karan's bed, she gently runs her fingers on his hand that had an IV attatched...✨

Monami - Please... You'll have to co-operate...You can't leave like that

She held his hand lightly and sat next to him, pulling a stool near his bed...✨

Monami - Tumhe theek hona hi padega ♥️
