Running is not a part of my day that I specifically like, but if I absolutely have to do it, I'll do it. I didn't expect to have to run today actually. After not running in the park because I woke up earlier than usual, my routine wouldn't call on it anymore, but little surprises throughout the day are not put onto your schedule. Why would, "Be dragged away by a stalker," be on your schedule?
"I watch you everyday feed those birds, and then you would talk to them," informed the man as he stared into my soul. The street lights were going to be on soon and I couldn't see anyone around, this man just admitted to watching me everyday in the park and he looks like a thug. Not the best of situations, but it could be worse - it could get worse. "I just like feeding the birds," I whispered as I stared down to the ground in fear.
"But they don't fly away when you get too close! That's really cool! I want you to teach me!" continued the man as he smiled. I finally took a breath, relieved at the man's innocent answer. "Thank god he's just a creepy looking guy and not some thug," I thought to myself as I smiled up at him. Suddenly he took my hand and announced that we were going to his house so I could teach him. "Oh, I need to get home, it's gettin-," I was pulled forward as the man pulled me along.
I was wrong! The situation is getting worse and I can't do anything about it! "I'm being kidnapped! Am I really being kidnapped? Yes I am! A psychic being kidnapped?" I thought to myself as he pulled me along at a speed I was barely keeping up at. "Sir! Let go!" I said as I was pulled out of the park, getting farther away from my house. Was the conversation before just a cover up for anyone that was listening? "Just a few more minutes and you can teach me!" he announced as we ran past an old couple. I looked to them for help before we turned the corner, and they only laughed! Did he do that on purpose! Did they think a girl being dragged away by a random man was a joke? "I'm being kidnapped in the middle of the street!" I thought to myself before I started trying to dig my heels in the ground, my chest heaving and my leg shaking from so much running.
You might be saying, "Y/n, why not just teleport away instead of running with this guy?" Because anything I'm holding onto teleports with me and I'm being held by this random guy. I can't fly away because the cargo (the guy) would be too heavy! So yes, if I don't get any help or figure out a way to stop this man, I'm screwed. So I'm going to do the only thing I can think of doing.
I started running as fast as him (somehow), getting to his side, perfect. I dropped my bag, leaving my hand free, and I threw a punch into his throat, right in the Adam's apple. That left him disoriented for a second and I slid my hand out of his grip and turned around to see a man turn onto the street. Before I could run for his help tho, I was grabbed again by the same man, who had made a quick recovery and was now yelling at the top of his lungs. "Why'd you hit me!?" he said with a pout. Was he seriously pouting! I turned to the man, who I realized was the same age as me, and yelled, " Please help, he won't leave me alone!"
Immediately, the creep that was holding me looked up to the pink haired teenager and smiled, "Buddy!" Buddy? As in friend? As in my situation just got worse? Buddy as in-
"Let her go Nendou," demanded the pink hair man as he glared at his buddy.

Good Grief! I knew he was dumb but not this dumb! "But she hit me!" said Nendou like he wasn't holding the girl hostage. "She thinks you kidnapped her," I responded, waiting for the two cords in Nendou's brain to click together. He looked at the girl, who was struggling in his grasp, then back at me.
"That's why you were telling me to stop?"
At this point I'm not even surprised, I can't get surprised after his response earlier. The girl nodded her head timidly. "Oopps sorry," said Nendou like just accidentally sat in someone's chair and not just randomly kidnap a random girl off the streets. He let go of her arm and she immediately ran into my chest, then she flew to my back and stared at Nendou. This may be one of the only times where I will not be bothered by someone using me as a human shield. I don't blame her, I would've done the same thing if a guy as creepy as Nendou grabbed me and started to haul me off somewhere, not that will ever happen to me.
"I'm going to walk her home, go home Nendou," I said as I grabbed the girl's bag and took her hand as I noticed that lack of thoughts. I looked back at the girl and finally realized two things should've been obvious when I first saw her: I can't see through her.
Good grief is Nendo's mindlessness rubbing off on me?
