Maria is a gentle soul with a shy yet sunny disposition. A realist outwardly and an optimist at heart she always hopes for the best. Still though she knows that sometimes, things aren't meant to be. although willing to fight for what she believes in she would rather wait in the background for the opportunity to arise.

she takes pride in the fact that she is skilled in multiple forms of combat. very good at thinking on her feet and always has a back up plan. she is very good at thinking up multiple ways to solve a problem.

definitely a introverted extrovert she does like talking to people but at times needs some alone time. people are the greatest way to keep yourself happy. she wants to form friendships and good relationships with most people she meets. everyone has a story, and she can be very understanding, compassionate and empathetic. if someone asks her for help she will do everything in her power to do so.

do not mistake her kindness for weakness. although kind she can pack a punch and isn't afraid to exact a certain type of vengeance. If prompted she can be manipulative and angry.

strengths

~ excellent at staying hidden. she can move through even the darkest forests without making a sound

~ great observation skills. she usually stays back and observes before putting herself in any form of harms way

~ empathetic. she can empathize with almost anybody. it is the main source of her gentle nature.

~ kind. she has a way of being kind even to those who aren't to her. don't mistake kindness for being nice though. because if there is one thing she isn't, it's nice.

weaknesses

~ bloodshy. she doesn't like blood. she doesn't like killing. but she will if she knows it's best for herself.

~trusting. she trusts people easily and is more prone to giving people the benefit of the doubt. this can come back and bite her in the ass at times.

~ she isn't a master in any particular skill except stealth. her hand to hand combat could use some work. her long range weapons can sometimes miss. her short range weaponry is also good but not perfect. still though, if she misses once, she won't miss a second time.

likes

~ she really likes nature and everything that it includes. if she has to kill an animal for food she thanks it. plants and flowers are beautiful and deserve to be treated delicately.

~ practicing with her bow and arrow. if she isn't doing anything she's probably practicing with her bow and arrow. it is her favorite weapon.

~ music. she is a big fan of music and all the lovely instruments that go along with it.

dislikes

~ killing or blood. although accustomed to it, it doesn't mean she has to like it. she will do what she must, but will she complain? yeah a little bit.

~ being told she can't do something. she can do anything she puts her mind to.

~ pessimism. her optimism is something that she uses as a pillar. when someone threatens that.

backstory

she grew up in a large family where hunting was needed in order to survive. her family never had any real money in order to feed all of them. so hunting and gathering was desperately needed. so she learned how to hunt with a bow and arrow. then she started to learn how to handle a dagger. throwing them, using them, carving things.

she joined the wolves for money really. and something different. something more. she always felt as if she had more to offer. her skills in stealth could be useful. She could be useful.

and now she is.
