The End

Ch.2

Without thinking I screamed the glass is going to shatter. We need to leave now, everyone looked at me in confusion but for some reason the girls and old couple trusted me and started to run back to the entrance. I grabbed Iris's hand and we ran to the entrance as well. We all made it up the ramp and onto the main floor, but we kept running until we reached the exit. I heard a bunch of screaming and turned around. I saw the water start rushing out and the people screaming and running, Iris and I ran out the door and the girls and old couple followed. We got to our car and let them in, we drove down the road and watched as all the water from the giant tank demolished the building and covered the parking lot. When we knew we were safe from the water we stopped the car, everyone was screaming at me "How did you know?!" I just sat there for a minute trying to figure out what to say. After about a minute I just said "I saw it happen..." Iris looked at me confused and said "What do you mean you saw it happen?" "I don't know, I just saw it. I saw all of us die in there, I saw the glass break and we all died." "But we don't even know you so how did you see us die...?" the old lady said. I looked at her and shrugged my shoulders, the girls piped up in the back and asked if Iris and I could bring them home. We said yes ofc and we brought the old couple to their family's house because they were just visiting for a few months apparently. When Iris and I got home she immediately started asking me a bunch of questions, I told her that I don't know anymore then her why this was happening. She then brought up a movie series called Final Destination in which the main character has a premonition of an accident and then saves a few people from the freak accident, and then death kills them off one by one. I looked at her and laughed, "You're crazy Iris, that's a movie this is real life, we're just lucky to be alive." She scoffed and then said "Whatever, but just so you know in the movie they all die in the order they were supposed to die in the accident." I rolled my eyes at her, but as much as I didn't want to believe it I also felt like I should. So just in case that was what was going to happen to all of us Iris and I drove back to the girls house. I walked up to the door and knocked, the brunette answered and said "Oh hey it's you guys, is something wrong?" "Um...no but since you guys are young and just had a near death experience we thought it would be good to give you guys our numbers in case you want to talk about it." I said "Oh of course." she said. She then yelled to the other girls, "Jade, Summer come here!" The girls ran down the stairs and to the door "What's up London?" They stopped when they saw Iris and I, they looked at eachother and asked London if there was a problem. London told them no and they said oh ok and smiled. I handed London a piece of paper with mine and Iris's numbers on it. She took out her phone and texted both of us. The blonde girl invited us in and we all made our way to her living room. She smiled and said "Thank you for saving us earlier, that was so totally scary." "You're welcome, do you guys want to talk about it?" the black haired girl said no, then the blonde girl said "Oh I'm Summer by the way, and that's Jade." the black haired girl waved at us. We told them our names and then London said "Do you guys want to stay for dinner we're ordering pizza?" Without even letting me think, Iris said "yes we'd love to." We laughed and talked while eating and then Iris and I said bye and left. When we got back home we went to our rooms and went to bed. I had a weird dream all I saw was lightning and a person running, then I woke up and looked at the clock. It was 5:35 am and since I was up I decided to get up and get ready for the day. I made some coffee and ate, then showered and did my makeup and hair. By the time I was done it was already 8:00 am and  I decided to go to the store to get some stuff. As I was driving to the store I realized that I drove right past the girls house, it started to rain and I saw Jade running. I stopped the car and asked if she wanted a ride back to the house. She said no so I continued driving to the store. When I got out of the store there was a thunderstorm, I drove back home and it was 8:30 am. I knew Iris wouldn't be up for another hour at least, so I sat on the couch and watched some tv. About 10 minutes later I got a text from London that Jade had gone for her morning run and hadn't come back yet and that she was worried. I told her that I saw Jade running on my way to the store and that it had started to rain at that point. She said oh ok well I'm gonna go look for her text you in a bit. Not even 5 minutes later she texted me that there were police on her road, I told her I'd be right there. When I got there I was stopped by a police man who told me that a young girl had been struck by lightning so I can't go that way, I explained that my friend's house is right there and he said "Can you try to help us identify her then?" I said, "I can try." and followed him to the burnt corpse, as soon as I saw the body I knew who it was. "That's my friend Jade." I said hysterically. The officer pulled me away and said "I'm very sorry for your loss, can you get in contact with any of her family?" I told him how I had just met her yesterday because I saved her and her friends from the aquarium tank breaking. His eyes went wide and he said "You mean you guys survived?" "We thought there were no survivors." I explained that we had managed to get out before it was too late. He nodded and said he's very happy to hear there were survivors. He then sent me to go back to my vehicle and get to my friend's house. I obeyed and when I pulled into the driveway London and Summer ran out, they frantically grabbed me and dragged me into the house. "What's going on?" they said almost in unison. I explained what had happened and they broke down in tears, I hugged them and told them that I think Iris was right and we are all going to die in the order we were supposed to. London's eyes grew wide and she said "Like that one movie." I said "Yeah like that." Summer looked at me and said "If that's what's happening then who's next?" I stayed quiet because I had forgotten who would be next, then it hit me I remembered who it was. "You..." I whispered. Summer immediately started freaking out and panicking, London grabbed her and said "We can get through this, we just have to stay all together and protect you Summer." I looked at my phone and saw I had 15 messages from Iris and 10 missed calls, I called back and she answered freaking out "Where are you?!" she yelled. "I'm at the girls house, you should probably come here." I said. "Oh ok I'll be there in a few minutes but whatever you do don't look at the news." she said. I told her ok and then hung up, 10 minutes later she knocked on the door and we let her in. She started rambling on and on about how she saw Jade on the news and that she was struck by lightning. We told her that we know and that we need to protect Summer, then suddenly I remembered the old couple. I grabbed London and told Iris to stay there and keep Summer safe. She nodded and London and I got in the car. She asked me where we were going and I said "We forgot about the old couple!" "Oh shit!" London yelled. I looked at her with shock. I didn't expect her to curse, she laughed at me and we drove to the old couple's family's house. When we got there the old woman answered and invited us in.
