Angelina was the first ever best friend Terla loved but she was also the first reason to push Terla out of her dream world.
From that day on, they barely talk anymore and gradually, they lost contact.
###
Present day...

After a long time of standing in front of the mirror pondering, Terla finally moved.
She went to the desk and pull out a leather book from the drawers.
She flipped through the blank pages and finally, almost in the middle of the book, she found some scribbles.

Plan A / Register for the abroad studying preparatory class. Work hard for a scholarship!!❌❌❌ (failed) ;(
Plan B / First to a neighboring kingdom, then to my destination!! ( in progress )
Plan C /.....leave it to the universe. Opportunity.....

Yes. Terla wrote these. She believes that there is no reason left for her to live here. No friend, no one to talk and no one to love. Her life is pointless living here. So she has decided to go on an adventure.
To where she would find friends of her life and... Love of her life.
It must just be a fantasy but no one knows without trying.
She had been planning to study abroad... because it's the best way she could think of.
Still, life is not that easy.
Her first plan failed because her parents doesn't support her and the expenses are not cheap.
Also, it would take more than two years and there is no guarantee of getting into an institute she wants.

So her father came up with another plan which is to study in a neighboring kingdom instead of aiming for the faraway empire yet. And he promised to be able to cover the expenses with every means.
Terla didn't agree at first but at the end of the day she couldn't find a reason to disagree and she was tired of arguing.

But there is a knot in her heart that it is not what she wants. What she want is to just disappear to somewhere no one knows her and those who knows her can't reach out to her. And that place, she exactly knows where.
The Khisfire Empire....that's her goal.

Terla closed the book and decided to go to bed....but her callo flashed.
(callo - an enchanted tablet made specially, to send and receive messages.)
She grabbed the callo and poured some magic into it.
Letters appeared in front of her, " Hey, come over to the tower. I've got what you asked for. Lucas"
Terla grabbed a black cloak from her wardrobe, drew a palm-size formation, and poured magic into it.
*whoosh* and after a few seconds, she disappeared.

Inside the tower,
A girl's figure starts to form and soon, a voice echoes in the room, "You sure it will work?"
A man walks to the front of the figure and answers..., "I guess? I worked my best though.", as he looks at the bottle in his hand.
"Okay, thanks Lucas." a girl's hand grabbed the bottle in his hand.
"Terla, you've moved on?" Lucas asks.
"From what?" Terla answers.
"Nothing....." "you know I have this crush and yesterday, I got rejected."
"You'll move on." Terla says abruptly.
"No this time it's real. I really like her."
"You've said it before a thousand times, bro. Just for different girls."
" No, this time I mean it."
" Come on, I bet you will find another ten of better crushes tomorrow."
"No, I won't be able to. I didn't like her at first, but now I think I am in love..."
*Agh* Terla sighs fed up with his everyday nonsense.

In short, Lucas has been her only best friend or a bro all these years. Although he has dozens of crushes that he changes every day, she knows for sure that he is a good guy, and most importantly, he gets done with any favor she asks. In fact, Lucas is a month younger than Terla, and he came from a rich family. Despite being a young master, he enjoys potion making and is an efficient synthesist.

"And you see, my crush I told you before, she's got a boyfriend..."
"And you know Babetta, she....."
"Stop, stop, stop. I only need to apply this twice a day right?"
*Ahem* "Yeah."
"Yeah, then bye-bye." Terla then draws a teleport formation and disappears but
*bang*
*ouch*
"Huh? Where am I?"
"Lucas..?" "Hey, are you fooling around?"
*silence*
'Hmmm....did I teleport to the wrong location?'
Terla again draws a formation and a small light ball appears.
'This...I think I've been here before, it looks like a library. Never mind, I will just leave.'
She draws another teleport formation...but
'Huh! Why can't I teleport?' 'Let's try again.'
.....
She tried and tried and tried but she was still stuck in here...
*sigh*
'I will be out of mana if I continue this way. What should I do? Think TT think.'
'Looks like I should leave through the doors. Door...where do I find the door.'
She poured more magic to the light ball and walked around in search of the door.
'Oh there, I think it's a door.'
Suddenly, a small twinkling light appears not far away from her.
'Huh?'
"Who's there?"
"Come out!"
*silence* *chills*
' Is that a ghost? Should I apologize for intruding its place?'
Terla took a deep breath and walked to the light...
' Huh...a glass dome?'

a glass dome?'

' Help...' 'Help me...'
" Who is it?"
*silence*
'Am I hearing sounds?'
'Save me...'
" Who are you show yourself!"
The light in the dome glows brighter.
'Here...'
'Huh...?'
' It feels like it is coming from my mind instead of hearing the voice.'
'Save me.....' 'Please.....'
Terla looked at the glow in the glass dome again.
'Is it telepathy? Why am I feeling like it's coming from this light.'
'Yes.yes.here...' the little voice seems to be excited.
