A tall blonde and a little shorter women with curly hair walked in through the front door. Harper gathered the 3 creatures and slowly walked down the stairs. The blonde haired women spoke while hanging her coat up.
?: Hey Harp I got a call-
She turned around and looked at the 2 amphibians standing beside Harper, and the frog on her head. The blonde haired women stopped talking mid sentence and aggressively tapped the curly haired women.
??: What is it Sash-
She paused too, and her eyes went directly towards the coral colored frog that looked like....
??: .......Sprig....?
SASHA: Anne- are you seeing this right now?!
ANNE: Y- Yeah-
Sasha's eyes darted towards the toad right away. She saw the little toad tower symbol on the cape Seren was wearing.
SASHA: Is that an old toad tower cape?
SEREN: Yeah! How did you know?
SASHA: I obviously came up with it, and who are you?
SEREN: Are you Sasha?!?! Oh and I'm Seren, Captain Grime's adopted granddaughter!
Sasha smiled.
SASHA: It's nice to have another toad tower acquaintance here. Now you need to tell me what Grimsey has been doing for the past few years-
Sasha and Seren walked away and Maia disappeared to go watch Marcy work on her newest webcomic. Anne stood in shock still looking at the frog.
ANNE: What is your name small frog?
OAKLYNN: Oaklynn Plantar! I live in wartwood with my dad, sprig, and my mom, Ivy!
Anne smiled right away and almost started crying.
ANNE: A- A P- Plantar?! I can't believe- how is sprig?!
OAKLYNN: He is great! He still tells stories about you and everything! He really does miss you.
ANNE: I miss him too, but now we have you to keep us some company!
Harper looked up at Oaklynn and smiled.
HARPER: Oak and I are like best friends! We both love the same thing, especially looking at the moon and telling stories.
ANNE: Thats great! Now I'll be in the kitchen, alright? Did you finish your homework? It's almost summer after all
HARPER: Psh- yeah! I totally did it!
Harper weakly smiled and bolted upstairs with Oaklynn still on Harper's head. Oaklynn jumped off of Harper's head and landed on the bed. Harper landed down beside her and smiled. They talked and talked for a few hours, even at dinner they were so caught up in stories that they couldn't stop. Eventually is was night time and Oaklynn was sitting on Harper's balcony. Harper sat down beside her.
HARPER: Let me guess, are you homesick?
OAKLYNN: how did you know?!
HARPER: I can just tell. My Mum, Marcy, used to get homesick all the time and sometimes still does. I get homesick too.
OAKLYNN: really?
HARPER: Yep, but you know what makes me feel better? Looking at the moon and stars.
OAKLYNN: Same!
Oaklynn hopped into Harper's lap and sat down while looking at the moon and stars. Harper looked at the moon and stars a little bit before she looked down and saw Oaklynn fast asleep. She smiled and picked Oaklynn up. Maia and Seren were already asleep on their makeshift beds that Oaklynn made. Harper placed Oaklynn on her bed and tucked her In with a smile and then walked downstairs.
Harper walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge as quiet as possible, but the light turned on right away revealing both Sasha and Harper.
ANNE: Caught ya- oh come on Sash!
SASHA: I was hungry, okay? And Harper is down here too so you can't say anything.
Harper stood their silently and started to slowly out of the kitchen but Anne stopped her and shooed Sasha away. Sasha walked out while sticking her tongue out at Anne.
ANNE: Seems like you have been getting along pretty fast with Oaklynn, right?
HARPER: She is like- my best friend, it's like you and her Dad!
Anne smilied.
ANNE: if we could ever figure out a way to amphibia, I will have you meet everybody, and even learn more about it from Mum. She basically wrote every single detail down in her journal.
HARPER: Thats pretty cool-
Harper yawned and Anne looked at her.
ANNE: Time for bed, Harp.
HARPER: Got it, goodnight mom, I love you.
ANNE: Love you too.
Harper walked upstairs and landed on the other side of her queen sized bed, she fell asleep right away.
