After putting on his combat suit and gear, Mangy runs back to the bridge. This time, he's got better protection on his side. Thanks to the new bulletproof vest, no shrapnel will go through. Earlier during the attack by the Japanese floatplanes, he got slightly wounded which caused him to lose certain amount of blood. This was nothing however, as they were nothing more than cuts on his body and he was able to heal them quickly using the first aid kit. Well, now that he's locked and loaded, he'll be more prepared in case he is attacked again.

Just as he is about to reload his Type 98 rifle, he picks up more contacts on his long range radar. All ships are identified as WW2 battleships, cruisers, destroyers, battlecruisers and aircraft carriers of various classes, all American, British, French, German and Japanese. It looks like they are about to encounter each other and start one of the greatest sea battles that ever occurred in maritime history.

Seeing where this is going, Mangy wants to intervene in that battle and put an end to his enemies once and for all, but there's a problem here. The Japanese are the ones that occupied his nation and murdered his people, so fighting for them is out of the question. On the other side, the Americans are the capitalists who attempted to occupy his nation and enforce their ideals on his government, at least that's what he was taught. So which side should he root for? Both sides have nations that are his enemies and joining one of them would be equal to betrayal of the Juche ideology. After all, that's what he's been fighting for. Not for the nation, not for the people, not for the Kim family, but for the ideology itself.

In the end, he decides that it's better to keep a low profile and analyze the situation for the time being. If he intervenes he might be altering history and if that happens, his nation might never come to existence. Sure he could use his advanced weapons to his advantage to create a free, unified Korea under the rule of the Juche ideology, without the Kim family who have oppressed their own people and without the capitalist corruption, but there's also the possibility that his plans might end up against him.

The best thing to do is to hide and wait for the war to be over, or he could stay hidden forever and sail around the world free of the Kim regime and free of the oppression he had to face for all those years just to prove his loyalty. Since he is an electric ship, he won't need to dock anywhere to resupply, so he'll be fine for a few years.

Not wasting time, he launches his two Streaker drones. It is with those that he will scout the two fleets as they'll try to wipe each other out from the seas. The drones will fly at high altitude, identify the enemies and survey them for as long as it is necessary. That way he'll be able to watch from a safe distance and will not have to worry about being seen.

The two Streaker drones are actually locally made Chollima attack drones named after North Korea's mythical animal, the Chollima. In comparison to the original Streaker drone, the Chollima is equipped with a camera that has both night vision and infrared mode which helps the operator to track down targets where he can't see them. If for example there's a submarine in the area and he can't track it down with his sonar, the Chollima will track it using its thermal camera. It is also armed with four HT-26 air to air missiles for self defense, just in case it encounters an enemy aircraft, and although they've never been tested before, reports indicate that the new missiles are effective by 99 percent. Well, he'll have to see it for himself.

At the same time, the Azur Lane fleet was on its way to meet the Crimson Axis fleet. It's been about three years since the alliance split due to the intervention of the aliens known as the 'Sirens'. Nobody knows what they are or where they came from, but they are responsible for the loss of most of the oceans. Before the appearance of those 'Sirens', not only were the factions united under one single alliance, but they also had full control over both the seven seas and the sky and were able to coexist peacefully. If it weren't for them, this war wouldn't have happened. Well, it's been three years now, they can't just stop like that. At least one of the three sides must win this conflict and restore law and order in the oceans and seas of this world.
