It was 11:58pm, and Akaashi had jut submitted his last due essay of the day, when they heard Bokuto his roommate calling him from the kitchen.
"AGAAAASHIII! I NEED YOUU!!"
"Yes, Bokuto-san?" Keiji replied, walking into the kitchen to greet Koutarou. "What is it you need me for?"
"Okay so you know my best bro Kuroo, right?"
"Yes, the black haired one you always have around - right?"
"Yeah, him." Bokuto clarified.
"The one Keiji defnitely has a thing for? He's in my business class." Kozume Kenma, their third roommate peeked around the door. "Are you setting them up or something?"
"What? I've never actually met him! I don't have a-" Akkashi began, but he was soon interrupted by Bokuto.
"Well, sort of... You see, Kurobro is like SUPER bi, you know - and well his family are like SUPER homophobic you know and he needs a fake date to a family gathering because they said gays couldn't have healthy relationships and he wants to prove them wrong by bringing a boyfriend with him but he's mega single, and I've got my big test and I would've asked Kenma - but he's going down to visit Shoyo for the weekend Tetsu needs and..."
"Personally I think you should do it. If you don't it's kinda homophobic..." The blonde said, still from behind the doorframe.
"I'm literally panse- ugh, fine. I'll do it, but only to prove the homophobes wrong."
"Cool! So I'll just give Kuroo your number and he'll text you about what he needs you to do!"
"Great thanks, I'm going to go to bed now. Wake me up if there's some sort of emergency." Akaashi then went off to their bedroom, but they did hear what Kenma said as he left the room.
"So... Koutarou, want to get McDonald's with me? There's a 24hr drive through down the road, I'll buy you a pokemon Happy Meal."
As Akaashi heard the door shut behind his roomates, their phone pinged.

-KurooTetsurou- hey, the names kuroo - bo's friend. Your Akaashi Keiji right??
-AkaashiKeiji- Yeah, hi. Bokuto told me everything you needed. When will this 'gathering' be?
-KurooTetsurou- next weekend. Fri-Sun
-AkaashiKeiji- Okay, I can do that. Where will it be?
-KurooTetsurou- its in Tokyo. I can drive you but my sister will be there too
-AkaashiKeiji- Great. Anything else?
-KurooTetsurou- we have less than a week to act like were dating so we can meet up before and get to know eachother first ig
-AkaashiKeiji- That makes sense. Are you free tomorrow after 5pm? We can create a 'getting together' story.
-KurooTetsurou- yep im free! My dormmates bf is over tmrw night tho so can i sleep over at yours? We can watch a movie or sm
-AkaashiKeiji- That sounds good to me. Bokuto isn't going to be at the dorm tomorrow, but our other roommate Kenma - he's in your business class - will be.
