Y/N's Point of View~

Over the year, I've been mastering my breathing technique. I've been training day after day, perfecting my breathing technique...to the point where I've never messed up on a single step for months. I've completely mastered Nebula Breathing, Tanjiro would comment that I looked extremely elegant. My forms are fast, but some are painless while other forms are painful.

I was currently meditating, breathing in and out calmly. This is the main key to Nebula Breathing, you need to stay calm, relaxed, and collected. The calmer I am, the more damage I can inflict.

"Well, I have nothing more to teach you two. Whatever happens next is up to the two of you. Follow me," Urokodaki commented, we followed him till we were in front of two huge boulders. "If you successfully slice them in half, I will allow you to enter the Final Selection. Otherwise, you won't be qualified," Urokodaki said before disappearing.

Tanjiro and I swung our swords at the boulder, only for the impact to send us to the ground. I decided to perfect my new forms, so I now have 16 forms that I can do perfectly. I was cutting trees and smaller boulders to practice with. With each swing, I could feel my technique improving, the precision of my strikes becoming more refined. The sound of the blade slicing through the air echoed through the forest, as I focused on mastering the intricate movements of each form. As the days went by, my confidence grew, knowing that I was steadily inching closer to becoming a true master of the sword.

Six months passed, and Tanjiro and I ran toward our boulders but failed once again. I sat between my legs, virasana style. My hands were bloody, making me slightly scared at the sight of blood, but I tried to stay calm. 'I wonder what I'm doing wrong...is it the swing? My approach?' I thought of many different questions and tried again, and again, but every time, I fell to the ground.

"Aghhh god damn it!" Tanjiro yelled out of frustration, hitting the boulder with his head.

"Are you alright?" I asked gently while slowly getting up to try again.

"No! No why won't it slice?! I have been training for so-" Tanjiro explained, but was cut off by someone else.

"Shut up!" the unknown person said, cutting Tanjiro off in the process. "If you call yourself a man," I looked around for the source of this mysterious voice until I saw a boy with salmon-colored hair, a fox mask, and a yellow and green kimono with a white haori. "A man shouldn't whine. When you suffer, suffer in silence, as she did," the boy exclaimed while pointing at me. The boy jumped up and charged at me. I got in a stance and blocked him effortlessly. He tried again, but I blocked him again.

"Don't you dare attack Y/N like that!" Tanjiro screamed while charging at the boy. The boy pushed Tanjiro to the ground with ease.

"Weak. Slow. Immature. I'm more powerful than you," the boy threatened before jumping up to a tree, using it to push himself to be in front of Tanjiro, attacking him. "You've learned nothing. Your body has no clue what it needs to do," the boy continued while pointing his wooden sword at Tanjiro. I quickly ran towards the boy with the fox mask. I was so quiet that neither of them knew I was there. Over the months, I've been practicing running and landing from high locations, but I started to notice that I couldn't hear my footsteps...even when falling, I would gently land on the floor. I asked Urokodaki-sama and he said that it might be from my weight or how graceful and gentle I am.
