Ever since that whole villain incident, there haven't been any real training sessions. We were mainly just working on academics such as math and science, which sucked. We got to choose our hero names, which was pretty cool. I chose '[Nickname or Hero Name]' and Michael chose 'Eggs Benedict'. Don't ask. I don't know why either. But, we still had the Sports Festival to do, meaning that we'd have to resume training. So after weeks of training for this event, we did it and here are some of the highlights and lowlights. Most of the events were not that interesting, but the matches were a bit... interesting.
"Hello everyone! Welcome to the U.A. high school's Sports Festival!" Present Mic exclaimed while the audience didn't quiet down. "Please, can everyone please quiet down? Alright, I'm about to go all Bo Burnham up in here." I don't know about everyone else, but I was expecting him to start singing a song or doing some sorta comedy routine. But I couldn't have been more wrong. "I'M DYING INSIDE!" Everyone went silent. "Thank you, now please turn your attention to Midnight!"
I was going to be going later on in the tournament, so I was just chatting with the others, practicing what I needed to do and watching the matches. "Guys, is it just me or does Midnight's outfit seem a bit too... explicit for a high school event?" Mina asked.
"No!" Minoru quickly exclaimed.
"...Okay then."
"Guys, we should go home and watch 'Fairly Oddparents' after this," Mina said.
"Didn't they cancel that show a few years ago? " Momo asked.
"...What?!" Mina exclaimed.
"Guys, guys, don't worry, they still have 'The Amazing World of Gumball'," I replied to them, trying to lighten the mood.
"Wait, wait, wait, what are we even talking about?" Shoto asked.
"Hot girl stuff," Momo said to him.
"Who said that I wasn't a girl?" We stared at him in surprise. Shoto was the one to say that? Awesome!
"Tenya, I think that you should go get me some food," I said to Tenya.
"Screw you," he said back, doing the arm thing during that. "Also, I already got Kaminari food before this, so I'm done for today."
"Are you saying that he's your favorite?!"
"Yeah, dad loves me more," Denki said, appearing behind me.
"Chichi, how could you do this to me?!"
"Do I look like your father?"
"Yes!"
"Literally, what is happening right now?" Tsuyu asked.
"My dad is choosing Denki over me!" I exclaimed.
"I'm not your dad!" Tenya exclaimed.
"Yes, you are!"
Mina and I were supposed to be going against each other. "This match with Shoto is taking way too long," she said to me.
"Well, the longer the match, the more satisfying the win will be," I replied.
"Who do you guys think is gonna win?"
"Shoto," we all said.
