Ten long years had passed and Tamaki was now seventeen years old, in his last year of high school and just living life one day at a time. Unfortunately he had fallen into the bad habit of stealing, but for a good reason. He would just steal some candy to give to the kids of the orphanage, nothing more. It was wrong, but the orphanage couldn't always get things like candy, that was a rare treat.
Little did he know, someone was watching him, someone he had long since forgotten. His guardian angel, Sogo. He had been watching over him the entire time, but had never stepped in. Only due to still being an amateur as no one taught him what he should be doing or helped him figure out what to do still. It was no excuse, but it was difficult for him to know when he should help Tamaki. So he just watched as Tamaki fell from the right path.
But that was going to end today as he watched Tamaki look both ways, crossed the street, pulled his hood further onto his head and entered a store. Something about how he was acting made him suspicious.
Sogo revealed himself so everyone could see him and quickly followed Tamaki into the store. Luckily for him, angels wore outfits similar to humans formal wear, so blending in wouldn't be too difficult. Though his outfit was a little less formal, it was an attempt to be a little different from the other angels. His outfit was a black shirt with a white jacket and white pants and black dress shoes. Much more casual formal, which he preferred.
As he looked around the store, he took notice of Tamaki doing something humans would call 'shady'. No one was paying attention, not that there were many bystanders around anyway. So Tamaki took that chance to swipe some candy and swiftly put it into his pocket. It was at that moment Sogo knew he had to stop him.
And stop him he would, he approached the boy and gave him a serious look, "What do you think you're doing, Tamaki?" he said in an angry whisper.
Tamaki flinched at the sudden voice and turned around, only to see someone he thought he had merely made up. He looked around to make sure no one else had caught him before approaching the angel. "So-chan? What the hell are you doing here?" The boy hissed.
"I'm stopping you from committing a crime. What compelled you to suddenly start being rebellious like this?" He crossed his arms, not happy with Tamaki's attitude.
"Suddenly?!" Tamaki exclaimed a bit too loudly as he winced at the volume. With a growl he put the candy back and began dragging Sogo out of the store. He stopped once they were a distance away and was sure no one would disturb them.
"It's not like I just woke up one day and decided I was going to start committing crimes! Where the hell have you been for the last ten years?!"
"I've been watching over you, doing other angelic duties, etc. I'm sorry I didn't show up until now, but I never knew when I should step in. That's no excuse, but still..I thought you'd be able to figure out things without my guidance. If you really needed me, you could have prayed.."
"I did! Things were good for a while but when they got bad I prayed! I prayed every day to see you again.." he clenched his fist. "At first I was sure you might've been busy. But later I gave up. What's the use in praying to angels if nothing is going to change?" Tamaki huffed. "You said you were my guardian angel and that you'd be there to guide me. But you lied."
Sogo could see Tamaki's Eyes shift from hurt to anger. He said nothing as Tamaki continued, "And now all of a sudden you've decided to follow through with your promise? To give me advice and help me? You have no right to judge me when you weren't there to stop me in the first place." He turned away and began walking off, he didn't want to talk to the angel anymore. But he did stop to briefly glance back at Sogo, "I've been doing just fine without you. So stay the hell out of my life." Was all he said before continuing to walk away.
