Misoo sighed for the nth time. "Just 1 more day", she thought, "then I'll be free". She's having her last session of college entrance exam tomorrow which is mathematics at which she sucks the most. Academically, she's doing pretty good ,not just good she has the 2nd best results from her grade. So she's not that much worried but since children these days are so competitive she wants to do her best and enter medical school which is her late parents' wish.
Her parents died when she was 10 years old from a car accident. She was the only survivor. Her dad died on the spot, her mom, after a week. Since then she lived with her mom's bestfriend, aunt Hayoung Lee and her family. When her mom was in the hospital, aunt Hayoung took care of her and mom, and when the doctor informed the critical condition to Misoo about her mom aunt Hayoung was there. Aunt Hayoung made a promise to mom to take care of Misoo. This all happened when both the families were living in Canada. Misoo's parents were really rich, so they left all their fortune to Misoo. Aunt Hayoung had 2 sons, Jake who was 5 years older than Misoo and the youngest Mark, who's 3 years older. The three knew each other since the two families were really close. After her parents' funeral, Misoo moved with the Lees'.
After about 6 months Mark went to audition for a Korean entertainment company because he wanted to be singer since he was small. He got accepted so he went to Korea and became a trainee there. Since then it was aunt Hayoung, uncle Soohyun and Jake .After 4 years Mark made his debut(NCT U),not just one but his company made him debut in another two(NCT 127 and NCT DREAM) groups but under same name NCT. Whenever aunt and uncle tried to call him, most of the time he was not available. He was either performing, or practising or was attending an award show. But one thing Misoo understood was that Mark loved his job and his fans and he was happy even though he was tired as hell the whole time. This made aunt and uncle a bit relieved but they were worried for him because they were in Canada while Mark was in Korea. So they decided to move to Korea for Mark.
That's how Misoo ended in Korea without her parents but with a family that made her feel loved and full despite the fact that her parents were not with her. She's now nineteen and it's almost three years since she left Canada.
