Naruto Uzumaki

The Lands of the Long Summer. It was probably one of, if not the best place. On the Valyrian peninsula to own a summer retreat. The Temperature here was always comfortable, and the scenery was exceptional.

From his balcony alone, Naruto was able to see the rolling hills and luscious meadows. In the distance, there were a couple mountains, but that only added to the scenery. If he flew on Dragonback to the east, he could be at The Sea of Sighs. It was practically a massive hot spring that many other Families around here, both Lowborn, and Highborn enjoyed.

He had just commissioned the building of this manse last year as a surprise for his Mother. Being the heir to House Uzumaki brought tons of stress, but there were a couple good things. Like having access to funds.

From a very young age, it had just been him and his Mother. His Father Minato had died in the Second Spice War. He was one of the two Dragonriders to die in a war against the Rhoynish. The rider he saved, one of the members of House Belaerys, had come back and told them about the Rhoynish.

Shortly after the news from the lone survivor, the ruling Forty Dragonlords convened in council. It was a rare moment for all Forty Families that they all agreed on waging war. Not even a single House opposed the decision.

The one hundred thousand Rhoynish soldiers and their water mages soon felt the wrath of the Freehold. Three hundred Dragons came upon them first from the sky, bathing them all in fire. They were followed by two hundred fifty-thousand Valyrian soldiers, which encircled the army and pushed them farther into their Mother Rhoyne.

Thus ended the Second Spice War. The full might of the Freehold had brought the Rhoynish to the verges of destruction. There were reports of A Princess leading women and children to Westeros, but the Freehold could care less. They had exacted their revenge.

None of it would bring his Father back.

His responsibilities as the heir of his House were thrust upon him much sooner than what was deemed normal. The moment he was able to walk, they began his physical training. When he was able to form coherent sentences, they started his education.

A smile made its way onto his face as Naruto recalled his childhood. It definitely wasn't what one would deem a normal childhood, but he expected nothing less since he was an heir. The heir to a House always got it rough, even more so when they were the sole male heir.

His instructors had called him a prodigy in all aspects since he excelled in all of his studies. He made sure to not let any of that get to his head. They had been paid to teach him and make him feel important. Though, it was more or less having that attitude of superiority beaten out of him by his Mother.

Kushina Uzumaki, his Mother, the current Head of the famed House Uzumaki, and one of the most beautiful women in all of Valyria. She was also one of the best mages in all of the Freehold. Hundreds of aspirant mages sought her training and guidance.

Her beauty had brought on multiple suitors and people seeking her bedchambers, even more so after she was widowed. Though, the announcement of a single betrothal ceased most of that. When it was revealed who her partner would be, the suitors stopped immediately.

Oh, how he wished he could see the masses' faces when she announced it was him she would be marrying. The Prodigal Son and The Crimson Queen's wedding had been the talk of the Freehold for months. Gossip intensified when Kushina declared that she would not be taking on any more apprentices.
