Ivy's POV
Everyday before work I stop by my favourite coffee shop. I started my career off with medical training. I even worked in an ambulance from time to time. But it always felt like I was missing something.I love helping others, there's nothing I'd rather do as a job. My cousin Penelope works for the BAU, and sometimes on the weekends we'd get together for coffee and tell me all about the cool cases she worked on.
That's actually how I met Spencer. He just happened to be getting coffee at the same time as us.
"Oooh, who's that hottie?"
"You mean him?"
"Of course, who else?"
"Hey Spencer! Over here!"
I can feel the blood draining out of my face. Oh shit! She knows him? Oh, she won't leave me alone about this.
"Hey Garcia. What are you doing here, and who's this?"
"This is my cousin, Ivy."
I finally looked up and made eye contact, as I swipe my bangs out of my face.
"H-hi, I'm Spencer."
"Is this the Doctor Spencer Reid, I've heard so much about?"
"Who else?"
"Y-you've heard of me?"
"Of course. The baby of the group."
"Garciaaaa." Spencer whines.
"I'm kidding, though I've been told that. You're the genius."
"That's better." Spencer says confidently, as he eyes Garcia. "Well I'm going to get my coffee."
Penny and I nod. "Just a heads up, he puts loads of sugar in his coffee. More then you."
"More then me?"
"More than you. Now, I'm gonna make sure you two happen."
"Penny, you can't just make people fall in love with each other."
"Spencer just needs a nudge."
I roll my eyes. Spencer makes his way over to us.
He drags over a chair to our table.
"Genius, did you know Ivy works in the medical field?"
"Oh, lets tell him my whole life story, why don't we?" Ivy says in a sarcastic tone.
"How much longer until you graduate med school."
Ivy smirks, and takes a sip of her coffee. "Well, I'mma head out. See you later, sis." Penny says.
"Bye Penny." I smile.
"You're not the only certified genius." Ivy smiles. "Graduated last year."
"Wow, how old are you? - sorry that was pretty rude of me to ask."
"It's fine. You have a curious mind. I'm 24."
"That's amazing."
"Says you, you're a genius. You have an eidetic memory, right?"
"Yes, and I can read 20,000 words per minute."
"Wow. That would've helped me with medical school."
Laughs.
"What's your IQ?"
"Scared I'm smarter?" She smirks.
"You wish."
"Well you might get some competition. I'm studying to become and agent."
"But be honest. Do you think I could become an agent."
