Meet My Boyfriend, Dad

Dad, meet Ohm, my buddy...err...boyfriend.

Nanon had always thought that he would be the straight one. The one to settle with a girl out his brothers. To be honest, he even saw it potentially happening in the future when he began dating Jane. Jane was a really beautiful, smart and kind girl who made him feel extremely happy at all times. His fathers, Tay and New, always were supportive whenever he brought Jane over to their home and welcomed her often because they knew how much Nanon loved her. His older brothers, P'Pleum and P'Frank also advised Nanon in his own love life. 

However, Nanon's happiness was suddenly disrupted when Jane broke up with him because she believed that they weren't able to spend much time together since they were often busy with studies. Really, Nanon understood so he agreed despite the fact that his heart was slowly breaking into a million tiny pieces. After the breakup, Jane went to England for further studies and Nanon broke the news to his parents. Tay and New comforted their youngest son and often encouraged him to find his happiness and company in another girl. 

But instead of a girl, Nanon met a boy. This boy, well, a handsome boy, was Ohm. Nanon and Ohm had met at the pink milk stall where Nanon often frequented at while he tried to get over Jane. Ohm was extremely extroverted and was the first to strike a conversation with Nanon. Despite the initial hesitancy, Nanon and Ohm began a slow and steady polite conversation which transformed into banter that later become flirts and then stabilized at sweet talk. 

This transformation of Nanon and Ohm's relationship brings us to today. Sunday, teh day when the entire family and the significant others gathers at the table for a weekly lunch ...RING RING..

"Dad, don't open the door. I wanna open it!" Nanon screamed as he thundered down the stairs. 

Tay stopped in his stride towards the door in surprise. He wasn't expecting Nanon to be this excited to open the door for someone. Honestly, he was expecting Pleum and Chimon to be on the other side of the door, but the two boys weren't that special for Nanon to be running down the stairs with such vigorous energy. 

Tay watched his son open the door revealing a tall tanned and muscled man in a neat white shirt and khaki pants. This guest was new. Tay moved closer behind Nanon to get a better look at this strange man. 

Nanon greeted him, "Ohm, you came!" 

The strange man, Ohm, smiled, "Of course, I'm gonna come!"

Tay watched his youngest smile with the eyes crinkling at the corners, the smile that Nanon reserved for the special people in his life. In that moment, Tay knew that something was off. 

As Nanon took, more like dragged Ohm to the kitchen. Tay followed silently, just watching the quiet conversation that Nanon and Ohm made with each other with their heads huddled so that they could each hear the other without anyone eavesdropping. 

When the young boys entered the kitchen along with Tay, New looked up from setting up the table. Frank and Drake were at the counter serving up the dished into their serving bowls and plates. 

"Hello Nanon and friend. Nanon, who might this young man be?" New spoke while shaking Ohm's hand and receiving the flower pot that Ohm had brought. 

Nanon introduced Ohm, "Daddy, this is Ohm, he's my buddy."

Ohm grinned. New smiled at Ohm and slid his eyes to Tay who was standing just behind the boy. Once Tay and New's eyes met, they both knew that the each other did not believe for one moment that Nanon and Ohm were just buddies. There was something else in the way they looked at each other. But the two fathers decided to keep quiet and watch the flirty yet playful interactions that Ohm and Nanon had with each while setting up the table. 

After Pleum, the oldest son and his husband, Chimon, had arrived. It was time to sit and dine. With everyone sitting and feasting upon the delicious food along with the occasional comment about how delicious the food was, Nanon decided that the moment had arrived. 

Nanon reached out to hold Ohm's hand which lay next to him under the table as he spoke, "Dad, Daddy and everyone, Ohm is here today because he is my buddy...err...boyfriend."

Tay looked up from his salad and smiled at New who was sitting across from him. Before he could say anything, Pleum spoke up, "Huh, I thought you were straight. I mean, not to stereotype or push you in a box, but you always had an interest in girls, not boys even when we were growing up."

Frank intervened, "Pleum is right but if you really like Ohm, then I'm really happy for you."

Drake nodded as to agree with his boyfriend's words.

Chimon smiled as he also verbalized, "Yeah, Pleum and I are super happy for you. We will always support you."

Nanon smiled at his brothers in relief, not that he had anything to worry about since both of his brothers were gay. But it was nice to be acknowledged and accepted for his decision, rather than judged for it. He looked at his fathers, Tay and New, who were silently observing the events unfold. 

New finally spoke, "This is certainly a surprise. I can't say that your father and I were expecting you to get together with a man but I'm sure that Ohm is sincere in his feelings."

Tay grunted, "Yeah, if Ohm isn't really sincere with his feelings then we know who he would be dealing with in short."

Ohm widened his eyes in response but he relaxed as he felt Nanon's hand clutch his more tightly. He knew that he would always love Nanon so there wasn't any reason for him to be scared to Tay's words. 

New smiled at his husband and spoke, "Now that we have cleared out the awkward atmosphere, Ohm, why don't you have some more pad thai and tell me more about how you and Nanon met exactly?" 

And that was all for Ohm to start speaking and thus subsequently embarrassing Nanon for his cheesy behavior in front of his older brothers. 

In short, it was the best lunch of the many more to come for Nanon and his forever love, Ohm. 

That night, as Tay and New were getting ready for bed, Tay spoke as he lay on the bed, "Are you happy that all of our sons are gay?"

New who was applying hand cream chuckled, "Why wouldn't I be? After all, it seems that all of our sons have found someone who truly respects, cares and loves them."

"Just like I do," Tay responded. 

New smiled as he walked over to Tay. With each step that New made towards his husband, New slowly untied the knot at his front which held together the deep navy blue silk robe. As the knot came undone, the robe slipped off New's shoulders revealing broad and white shoulders and clavicles that were begging to be decorated with deep purple bruises. Tay slowly grinned ferally as he sat up and watched New, his handsome husband, walk towards him sensually. Tay could feel the blood rushing down there giving way for lust along with happiness and love for the man in front of him. 

This was going to be a long night.

Autho Note: Finally, despite the long hiatus, I came back to finish the series. I truly feel that this is a perfect end to this book. Honestly, I truly thought that I would make Nanon to introduce his girlfriend to the family but Bad Buddy happened and thus I deleted the draft lol. I really hope that you enjoyed this book and I promise to write a book based on PatPran.
