Chapter 1

(This takes place in 2017 for no particular reason credits to the artist I would put there name but it's in Japanese and I don't know Japanese I also don't know if this will end up having a ship but if it does I plan it to be sanegiyuu so happy reading)

{3rd person pov}

It was 3 am and tomioka had just woken up to start his normal routine wake up,shower,check the news,read the news paper,head to school as he was checking the news he was hearing about the hit singer Iguro Obanai. To tomioka it was crazy he knew such a guy but even though he was famous didn't mean he was even remotely kind. Tomioka is a poor orphan who lives in a small cabin in the edge of the woods because of his poor upbringing
becoming a singer shouldent be an easy task but he got an offer to be a shadow singer for the star Iguro Obanai. Tomioka has never exactly been happy with the job but it keeps him going so he doesn't complain.Tomioka was heading to school on his normal route with his bitter-sweet friend Shinobu, Shinobu says she's not his friend but still sticks around him which makes tomioka happy non the less. Tomioka did what he normally did in the mornings, he went to his home room and then pulled out a book the book was named "No One Cares About Crazy People" by Ron Powers it was his favorite book and Tomioka had read it dozens of times each time noticing little things he didn't notice before. Even though it was more about American mental health it still kind of reminded him of himself, even though the cases were more sever then his was he understood the premis of the problems they had. Tomioka has always had mental problems since his family died back in 2011 as well as his best friends dying in 2014 Things have just never been the same for him. Mood swings, Depression,Anxiety and more were all things he had obtained after his loved ones died.

{Still 3rd person pov}

About 23 minutes after he picked up the book the classrooms seats filled up and the teacher walked in. This teacher was tomiokas Least favorite teacher Mr. Rengoku. He was the complete opposite of his son who also attended Tomiokas school, Mr.Rengoku was a mean grumpy man who liked to pick on kids who never raised there hand and would often give kids detention for no good reason. Tomioka is normally a target for his nitpicking as he's very quite and never raises his hand, even though Tomioka never likes to talk doesn't mean he's dumb but actually really smart so him trying to bully Tomioka doesn't really work. Today Mr. Rengoku seemed to be in a good mood because he didn't nitpick
anybody for once.after this period was over he went to the second and the one after that and then it was finally break period an hour of peace to have to himself but of course that never lasted long as apparently he needed to do a business call. Iguro Obanai opparently had a very important concert at 4:25 to 7:25 that Tomioka had to go to he had no choice as he was his shadow singer, the songs he had to sing were all the same from an album he made himself the album had to match Obanais asthetic so the album was called snakes venom and it hit the number one charts in just a day. Even though Tomioka had never gotten credit for his work it feels some what accomplishing to see something he made becoming a big hit so to him it all paid off. Sometimes in the way far back unreachable part of Tomiokas head he wanted more he wanted people to know it was him and that it was his work but he knew he had no choice. Tomioka had been saving up to go to a good collage and with all his expenses it's been hard if not for the shadow singer job he would have to go back to his old life doing 3 part time jobs just to survive. Tomioka sat and thought if he had anything in the way for today so he could clear his schedule and he forgot that shinobu had invited him to dinner with her friend group and lucky for him he said mabey.He texted shinobu that he would not be able to go as work had interfered and she answered a minute later saying it was fine a friend had bought tickets for a concert anyway about the same time that they were going for dinner as Tomioka was reading this he realized it was the same time as Iguro Obanais concert. Tomioka started to get anxious knowing people from his school were gonna hear his singing from the voice of somebody else but he calmed down after knowning the likeliness of them finding out was 1 in a billion but that stress was still in the back of his mind

{Tomiokas pov}

It was 3:45 and I was on my way to the studio where I would sing for Iguro Obanai. Iguro is a bossy person and liked everything done his way he was always kind of bitchy and mean unlike how he acted like in tv or on interviews every time I saw Iguro he was itching to get back to his girlfriend Mitsuri kanoroji she has no idea I exist and Iguro wants to keep it that way. I arrived 30 minutes early if I arrived any later he would have started to bitch about it. It was 5 minutes till stage and I was on and ready to sing and everything worked out I did my part blah blah blah.after every concert Obanai comes to tell me everything I have done wrong in the singing and I nod getting into an argument with him is like fighting with a real snake your try so hard but they never stop spitting there venom on you.I go home to my cabin and after awhile I am curios of what shinobu though of Iguro well my singing so I text shinobu "was the concert good". Shinobu-"that was the best concert I've ever went to the singer was so good and you could really feel all the emotion and emphasis in his songs" this text made Tomioka very happy and even if she wasn't directly complimenting him it felt like she was

thanks for reading of u don't know what a shadow singer is it's basically when a singer fakes there voice and it's another person doing the actual singing.I also have no idea where this is going but I know next chapter I will introduce sanemi and there will be more of Mitsuri.I will try to update once a week or more if this story doesn't flop so yea thanks for reading.
