I miss him.

I miss him so much.

Those promises we made, those words we said. How could you break them and lie to me so easily? Did you mean the things you did, the things I felt, was that all part of your game? I see you everyday, yet I feel that you're so distant.

The blonde hair, the hazel eyes, I fell for it. I fell for it all. We were so perfect together, you knew it too. So why did you make it end like this? Now you're at your wedding with some girl you met at a bar, she hated me, but you wanted me to be at your wedding so badly. Now I'm there, your best man, oh how I wish I was standing up there with you. Being the one to marry you, but no, you're happy with her.

Your happiness is more important to me than my own, so be happy. I don't care if I rot away, old and alone. All I care is that you have a happy life, even if it's without me. My feelings aren't important, not now, not ever. I was always the kid that everyone thought was worthless and boring, but you believed that I could be more. I remember it so clearly, the day you sent me a message over Skype, asking if I wanted to meet up while I was in Tokyo. What a mistake that was, I should have just finished what I was doing, let my death happen. But no, that little ding kept me breathing. If only I ignored it, I wouldn't have to be standing here, on top of this building. The wind brushing through my hair, my old Karasuno jacket waving in the wind. We had a final game with everyone, I had to see their smiling faces once again, otherwise i would forget them forever.

Thank you so much for everything my friends. Thank you for the most fun and enjoyable memories that we made throughout high school, college, and from there on out. Most importantly, thank you Tsukishima motherfucking Kei. Thank you for being the light and love of my life.

Maybe we were just too young and foolish to truly be in love, that's why you must be so happy with her. Smiling when you see her, or even hear her name, maybe that's what it's like to really be in love. I guess I'll never find that.

I love you, so much.

I stepped off the building and quickly dove toward the ground, tears in my eyes all the way down. As I fell, I heard a distant

"I love you Yamaguchi!"

And then I fell to the ground, surrounded by black and cries of terror.
